What beautiful fabrics and colors you have! I like that you're going to play it by ear. So far, that's how I generally choose each project, going by what I feel like in the moment.
Thanks so much! Happy sewing!
I like your idea of pulling out the fabrics that you would like to sew with this Spring and hanging them all together. That way I can see that the fabrics all coordinate. And then I can decide what patterns to use with each one. My sewing seems too haphazard right now, so I end up with disconnected pieces. Thanks, Rebecca!
You’re very welcome! This method really helps me sew from my stash each season.
Congrats on adding Daphne to your family!❤️🐾 What a sweet name. Fun to see all your fabrics and plans. Glad you’re feeling better!
Thanks so much Kendra! I’m excited to get sewing! Daphne is the sweetest!
I always get so much inspiration from your videos. Your mood boards are such a good way to stay on track with projects. I'm making a real effort to use colors and patterns for clothes that I will actually wear and that will also coordinate with each other. So glad you adopted Daphne - rescues are the best!
Thanks so much Judy! I’m glad I could share some inspiration! I think having coordinated colors is the best way to make all your pieces mix well. Rescues are the best!
Hi, Rebecca, I'm ready for Spring all also. It was funny when you said 40 something was cold when 40 something here in Ohio feels really, really good.😅😅😅. I like your mood boards.
Thanks so much Zelda! I just can’t handle cold weather anymore! I’ve lived in Florida for almost 20 years now and don’t think I could live in a cold climate again.
I love pastel colours too. You have a beautiful fabric selection!
I actually had to stop your video to purchase some of that gorgeous sage linen 😊
Wonderful! The linen really is beautiful!
Love your colors! I am gonna do something similar, go thru my stash and pull some things out and then see what patterns I have that will work. I have a few fabrics I am excited to sew this Spring Summer as well as a few thrift store upcycles I want to do.
Thanks Ami! Upcycles are always fun! Have fun sewing!
❤❤
will be good to see your items for summer when you make them, your hairs grown back alot since you had it cut short, do you regret having your haircut now you have to wait for it to get really long again?
Thanks so much! I tend to change up my hair pretty frequently so not a big deal. Happy sewing!
cool saves you getting bored and you can feel fresh with new looks, are summer outfits your favorite?
@@lovesport4123 Summer is definitely my favorite season to sew for here in Florida- lots of fun breezy caftans and swimwear.
