- 🔥The Fyr’alath drop chance has been bumped significantly and we can already see lots of folks getting their 10.2.5 legendary! It was about time Blizzard did something about this as the current state of World of Warcraft is gearing towards season 4 and lots of strength players have seen no fyr’alath the dream render even after 100 plus runs.
Since MDI 2024 started we saw some nice new changes to 10.2.5 m+ dungeons, all covered and discussed in here!

I said it on another video, but the main tank of my guild got the legendary on ALL 3 of his tanks. He can only use it for one tank. His co tank and all of our pally healers also have it. How many dps of my guild have it? 2. A whole 2 dps. I still dont have it and won’t have it. I’ve stopped my time as I’ve lost any sense of character progression as it’s all locked behind ridiculous RNG and watching paint dry shows results after time.
wow sounds like you have a shitty guild and need to be rolling for items as such not just this person should get it or this person gets it.

Tbh I kind of like this module. It reminds me of TBC and the chance to obtain warglaives off illidan. Does it suck when everyone doesn’t have them? To me not really but I get the sentiment from melee / tanks that want these items. These items however aren’t required to do the content you’re already farming. They should be seen as a bonus and not a guarantee
@@Furtivexx "They should be seen as a bonus and not a guarantee" - you clearly didnt see the dmg output of the legendary alone lol. if you are progressing mythic raiding, having all melees (2H ofc) with a legendary is a big boost to the dps output. making this a RNG drop was just lame. TThey should have done something similar with frostmourn or valanyr, where bosses drop materials and when you have enough, you go to the next phase of the quest or wtv..

Igave up, end of season, already rated my 3k io without legendary and dont want spend gold for a legendary to use for few weeks
It feels like blizz doesent know our frustration around balance tuning. To put effort in a spec thats forgotten in tuning doesent feel good. To add a legendary in the mix for some classes is not fun at all. Specially when u know that ur tuned WITH it!
Every person in my guild that has got their leggo was on an alt or, in once case, was a Holy Pally that has not desire to not be Holy. And I, a Fury Warrior main, am still waiting after like 7 or 8 H kills.
I think the legendary system of Ulduar was best. In that a guild decided who to send these items to, which healer they favored. Then all 30 fragments give you a legendary. I think it’s better than choreghast (an activity outside of raid) and the RNG system they had in TBC, legion, and DF. The bad luck protection stuff was a good idea though. Maybe they could see a drastic increase. I suspect it’s currently a 1% increase when it should be more like a 15% increase
DK, Pally and Warrior since content was available. This week for example i ran 3 LFR with an average of 24 2h wielders, 3 Normal kills with again 15-20 each run, and 2 Heroic runs with roughly 10 each run. in total there was well over 100 players going for the legendary, i i seen a total of..... 3! yes 3 axes drop, and these were the first 3 axes i seen this season.
I really really wana pursue it because the weapons design is great, and it's stats and effects are wonderful but then itll be completely obsolete in 6 months and we wont see another 2 handed strength legendary again for 4 more expansions.
I managed to get it the week before these hotfixes went out. I wish Blizz had buffed the drop rate sooner, but better late than never.

I personally think you should start the build your first Normal+ kill, get a Normal axe once you put in the effort portion, then upgrade it by killing Fyrakk.
It sucks not getting a legendary and really makes you feel like you don't matter when you don't get it before the end of the season.
Though it's supposed to be super rare, so no clue.
With the beginning of season 4, are the effects of the embers obtained in season 3 restarted?
do you think it will be worth putting the money this late in season? will this legendary go on in season 4?
Damn, end of season… I got it after 2 heroic runs and a day or two of obtaining it. Sad.

I wish Bliz would also up the drop rates on druid forms in the dream. It's ridiculous. Especially on the runebear. I feel that axe now has a higher drop rate.
I got it first try I didn't even want it but I still haven't gotten the stupid pip trinket for my boomie 😂
In case you didn't see, the actual drop rates for Fyr'alath were datamined earlier today.
Lesser Embers now give 0.6% increased chance for each (up from 0.3%), and Fyr'alath is guaranteed for anyone who has completed Fyrakk 15 times on Heroic. Before, you were never guaranteed to get it at all, with only a 30% chance after 40 kills on Heroic.
I dont think just killing one boss counts as working for it. I would though to the return of older leggo systems likr ICC/FL with it begining as quest chain that everyone can start but earned slowly by funneling in resource to one person at a time as a guild.
Same goes for us Druids farming the travel owl form mount fyyrak drops! I’ve been farming on 3 characters every difficulty I can. Wish the would increase the drop chance for the mount slightly increased as well.
you cannot get the owl form unless you get the Mythic Fyraak mount on any character. The owl form comes with the mount... which you can only get on Mythic difficulty.

This is from Wowhead: The Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance drops as Personal Loot from Mythic Fyrakk on Amirdrassil.
Learning it on any class will award you with the Feather of the Blazing Somnowl and the Cinder of Companionship.
When any is used they provide account-wide unlocks:
The Feather of the Blazing Somnowl unlocks the Anu'relos, Flames Guidance Flight Form for any Druid on your account.
The Cinder of Companionship unlocks the ability to tame the Spirit Beast Nah'qi for any Hunter on your account.
Until the end of the Dragonflight expansion Mythic Fyrakk will drop two guaranteed Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance per kill, after it will become a rare drop (1%).

This all depends on your view of what a legendary is. They have tried just giving everyone a legendary by just logging in or they can make it rare. If it isnt rare is it even legendary any more. The twin Glaives ae a case in point. At the time if you saw someone with them it was a genuine wow moment. If you see someone with the Axe people just think when do i get mine. Legendaries just arent legendary anymore.
Legendary in a lot of games is about time, effort, and power. Rare is a by product of time and effort. Well designed legendaries in games have very clear ways to obtain them, even if it’s a matter of months of effort. Cataclysm had great legendary obtainability. You had to do a combination of raids and quests and put the effort in to get it. They were rare cause not everyone is going to do that.
Fyralath being rare just because the way to obtain it is complete rng is awful design. Just like warglaives were actually an awful design. Legion legendary system was by far the worst.
The change to guarantee the axe drop after 15 heroic kills or 7 mythic kills is an interesting one. Especially since the season is likely only going to be around 20 weeks long. Not my favorite method, but it’s rewarding people who have put the time and effort in each week. Aside, I’m betting the mats are going to skyrocket now that most the population are all getting the axe at the same time.
Legendary should be given to ppl who grind for it not lfr ppl.

@@NotClosedMinded rare stuff is given to the players doing harder content in every game, u dont see ppl complaining on those games, lfr is not grinding, if u think rng is an good system rewarding players that are clueless is good then ur the one with the bad take, an mythic raider should always get the lego before an lfr player.

Did heroic smolderon and fyrrak, then did smolderon and fyrakk on normal. Didnt get ember from normal fyrakk and just got 1 window open in vault from raid (ring from loradar)... game sucking bad
Wish it felt more “legendary” or it would get an I’ll increase with next content so it stays viable
Hopefully I get mine next Tuesday lol but they should at least make it upgradable so it can stay viable in season 4

Wow on for some DEI. Everyone gets the axe!
They only guaranteeing it for people who have 15 kills or more on heroic. Your 14th kill is 30% and it jumps to 100% for the next kill. Sure, people who have been clearing the raid every week now have a guaranteed drop in two weeks. But I know a lot of people who gave up after week 7 or 8 and they aren’t guaranteed it if they come back now.

I’ve given up on farming the legendary. For the past month and a half of heroic clears, my guild has only had the “fortune” of *one*legendary drop. *one* Even with consistent embers dropping from bosses I still haven’t gotten mine. Honestly, do not like the rng approach and would much preferred the Shadowmourne approach.
I got it in LFR
making it a drop item with a low % is a very stupid idea. it should be a really long, hard quest line, with collecting drops from the raid that are 100% drop chance depending how far you are into the quest line.
Yesterday all raid member got legendary with one kill
Have been getting embers of Fyralath like crazy but it doesn't give me the legendary. Its just stupid.

The lego problem wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't such a big dps upgrade. Ret ST is pretty bad without the lego and without switching to a ST build which costs you a lot of aoe dmg. So you definetely need the lego to play ret seriously
my alt got it 1st week it can drop btu my main still use 489 ;( until now i collect all of raid LFR Normal Heroic Mythic raid set still not drop
3500 no leggo ret here atoc since week 2 and killed everyweek since then. was a feelsbad system no deterministic way to get it. And even getting it now when season is almost done is a big L because Ive already missed certain big title keys by seconds… 28 rise and other keys also all the grps I couldnt get into or got booted from.

I go with 3 chars weekly hc raid and on every run we are 4-6 who can loot it but no one saw it drop till now -.- funny every stream i saw the streamer has it. Maybe they get a higher chance from blizz 😅😂
Maybe they should keep RNG, but also implement a token system so you know you'll eventually get it within a certain timetable.

I have seen one of our tanks (a paladin who never goes dps) one of our healers (paladin obviously never goes dps) one of our alts, and after the buff 2 others in my guild get the axe.
Seen many lower ilevel pugs with it. its demoralizing cause I show up every week preform well go out of my way to help and prioritize the health of the guild I am in. To still be missing the axe sucks, I would be fine if I was one of the countless people to not get the axe and it was super SUPER rare but that is obviously not the case. I can confidently say that Shadowmourne and Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest are the best ways to handle legendary weapons for a tier.
I can't wait to hear the mock cheers for me to get my axe last belittling me in every way and end the apathetic logging in for another stupid clear when half the people in my raid group can't be bothered to even show up cause they are bored.

How is complete RNG "demonstrating a display of excellence"? First, as you said in the video, lots of melee around now. Clearly more than "some". Why, because without it, you're less than. How is getting something completely by chance demonstrating excellence? They say this yet in SL you could basically craft them and before that in Legion you got one within the first 10 minutes of questing.
Anyone knows if the weapon will be relevant in season 4? Or will it be obsolete like the evoker legendary from season 2?
It will surely be obsolete like all legendaries sadly. I mean why use it while you can get a weapon with 40-50 ilvl more. Stats diff will be too important

RNG is dogS regardless, no gearing should be based on it, with much better ways available such as a combination of currency + IO gate, way better. Forget legendary, its not a big deal if that unique 1 thing is hard /unfair to get, its far worse when things 99.99% of the player base needs but cannot reliably acquire, which right now is EVERYTHING. This RNG needs to become a supplementary bonus, let people buy from vendor the items, and make it upgradeable to max, no BS crests, just valor, and gate w valor and rating. Super simple and fair, people will be able to get level appropriate loot for content they run, and items needed will be targetable and predictable . Whoever brought in the RNG should be snipsnipped!

Yes legendary has to be special drop and be very rare but it is not working when u get that quest to spend 500000 k gold to craft it how many players can easy do it I think not much, so that no special anymore since even I have it I can’t craft it, so what is the point for me to spend months with no looting it if is very big challenge to get gold, with no guild persons 3-4 wins which minimum and it normal -700 gold for repair

Fated raids dropped a currency that allowed players to upgrade the legendary bow during Shadowlands season 4. I'm sure Dragonflight will do the same.

Y'all cry too much. Ive been playing the game for 14 years, I've got 3 legendary total. Ive never felt like im owed it because i put in the time. Its crazy how everyone needs to feel special so they cry about not getting lucky. Everyone just feels so entitled it seems

Another problem is that classes is balanced around having a legendary, so untill u get it your class feel like shit damage wise.

If I owned this company I would fire whoever designed this horrible system. Then rehire them, just to fire them again. There is no telling how many thousands of people have quit WoW because of this and similar garbage they do. They just want the community to whine so they can feel "god-mode". Also, so people buy tokens for 20$ to buy heroic carries because they can not do it.
Bliz has truly become a horrible company over the years. The developers care much more about the community begging them to stroke their ego, than giving a great product. And I won't even get started on this absurd "roll" for loot system. It took us what, ten years or so to force, and I mean FORCE the "devs" to give us personal loot. Then they missed the begging and whining to them and put it right back, to feel more ego stroking "god-mode". Nothing wrong with the game that firing some horrible developers and getting some good ones would not cure.
