I mean not taking anything away from the ODA's but DELTA is a counter terrorism force why would he leave 1 of the 2 counter terror teams we have in the country to be on an ODA team. can anyone clear this up for me?

    My older bro. is a 6th degree black belt (karate).
    I did F.S. and COL. wrestling for 9 yrs. When we used to fight each years ago I would hold him on the ground. He would get mad as hell. He would say," When I get up I'm going to beat your ass " I would get up and run. He would chase me and I would do a two leg T.D. on him again. The process would start again. He did F me up (Knock me out) a few times though.
    We would be so invested in the fight that we would be crying as we fought. That was 20+ years ago when we were in H.S. though.

    He probably should've been a SEAL with as much time he spends in front of a fucking camera selling shit! Eric Haney and his book and TV series the Unit now has some competition in the ass clown department. Most of us still believe what ever happens its between us and the enemy. I think its a fucking disgrace to make money from something where you lost your mates! The other thing would be a few guys cannot stand the idea of someone not knowing what they do or did. Here's a perfect example of quiet Professionals! 2 fathers each have a son that play on the same soccer team. They play together for 2 years and everybody knows each other. One dad is in the medical field and the other tests equipment. One day after a snap deployment and inside a building divided up with plywood the following happens: one hears a very familiar voice and looks around a divider and those two dads meet on the frontiers of freedom. There isn't much doubt now what they do.

      Navy SEALs are tougher than Marines? A unit does not make someone tougher than they already are, and that might sound crazy. It's all based on the individual and what he can do, not based on training. Training just shows you what you can do. And Navy SEALs love
      Marines, FACT!

    There is no way he made Delta at 23. At 23 you don't have enough combat deployments to be selected for Delta or Devgru.

      Edit: He retired as a Master Sergeant, not "Master Chief," as in the Navy rankings.

    Dr Dale is full of himself. He went through a course with the USAF CCT operators and made an ass of himself. Had a ND in the house. Thank the lord is was simulations and not live rounds. It got to the point where the CCT team was making Chuck Norris jokes about him. Not to mention he is a deadbeat dad. Other than that he is a swell guy.

    There was a point in time when you could apply for CAG. You were looked at from top to bottom to see if you were worth their time. Today, they hand pick experienced soldiers, Recon Marines, and even some members of SEAL teams. So Dale isn't lying. Besides, you gonna walk up on this man and tell him he's lying lol good luck with that bro

      Wrong information!! Recon Marines and SEALs do become members of CAG/DELTA/The Unit. They do not transfer from their Navy assignments to become Delta-Boys. From time to time they will work with Delta, but these men are primarily from DEVGRU/ST-6. As well, the Delta-Boys will roll with a DEVGRU Team on various operations. But, they are not assigned to Delta while still with the Navy. They go back to DEVGRU.

      +Running Goat that's true. Delta is comprised of all branches, the best of the best of the best. Delta is an Army unit, but it's made up of all walks of highly trained military life. Mostly Army though, because we're the shit of y'a didn't know.

    • @runninggoat2220
      @runninggoat2220 Před 7 lety +1

      Dale isn't exactly the person you look for when you want a rep from the Unit. IIRC he was not with them very long and then sent to the vanilla side of the USASOCOM with a chance at SFAS and SFQC. A couple of years with The Unit an Assaulter does not make.

    I realize this is an old video and you probably won't even know I left this comment, but this is my question. It has come to my attention that Delta Force may have been named that because of "Delta" mind control programming. I would like to know if these techniques are used on these soldiers. "Delta" programming is supposedly used to train "spies", "black operators", assassins, etc. Do you have any knowledge of these techniques being used on these guys? I noticed the Autogenic Training that he talks about in the video was developed by a former Wolfgang Luthe and J.H. Schultz who were involved in development of this training after World War II. I would be curious to know if these 2 men were among the Nazi doctors who came out of Germany under Operation Paperclip.
