- Shit has not been cooperating. Stuff is messed up. All good - life happens. This song felt right in terms of what I needed to just let it out. I know the shit ain't exact so.......yeah. It's not even close to exact. The end has some really distinct stops, pushes and pulls on kick patterns......there are extra notes on the snare and floor build ups.....just a fair number of things. Oh dude, Eloy never fails to leave me speechless. He somehow has an endless dynamic range while being the hardest hitting drummer a person may ever see. I encourage anyone to watch the Apply Brazilian Rhythms to metal episode on Drumeo. So far over my head it's stupid but it's an hour that goes way past a master class.
And yes, other channels I love are Delta and I want to think maybe Fernando Lemus did this? He's so much fun to watch. Another guy I'll throw in is Wade Murf. Wade is (or recently was) touring with Prong. That guy is a pro.
There are a lot of just great players on here. I really am a fan before a creator. Just no sub for sub stuff. I let players know when they move me and that can be in any number of ways. And I also truly like to support folks that you can see are trying.

What is up my friend? Mr. Jordison put anything I have to the test with this. He is flat out pushing it hard in this. It was fun to try. I can't say it was super clean since I don't have the best technique but it was cleaner than I expected. Hope that makes sense LOL! I did a few cuts and was anticipating it being choppy to the point I couldn't use takes. Luckily the feet cooperated a little more. I missed the hell out of fills and stuff though. After I was done, I looked and saw Eloy's version which I've seen and hold it in its own category. Then I saw Delta had done this. To me, those two are the ones the average viewer will find first so they can scroll down and get my take on things HAHA! Hope you're great bud.

But I had seen the Pappy and Hariett clips with Eloy and just had this tune on the brain. I'm so damn glad he will be manning the seat for them. I was (and am) a huge Joey Jordison fan. I can't ever not be but what I can do is watch the evolution of this band and enjoy it. He will pay so much respect to Joey but he'll bring tremendous creativity every time they play. Actually, this one was yours Charlene! Or at least I thought you'd asked about this particular tune in the past? Maybe I was wrong. Given the theme of this being 555 and 666, 66 days is perfect 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yep, close enough will have to do on it. This tune has been done by the best of the best. And anymore, I'm getting more OK with that and not feeling as much pressure to make something right. Delta Empire is one of my fav creators and he does a fabulous job with balancing those things. I saw he had done this and I honestly want to watch it later. Try not to watch anyone else's cover of a tune if I get my mind set on a song. But this one was easier than usual because I'm so behind on content, I picked a song and was doing it inside 2 hours.

You are close, but no cigar. The song that I requested was testify by rage against the machine. I like to call them rage against the washing machine. Anyway, all worked out 100%. On February 17 Marcus did the song testify. He did an awesome job on the song. I’m not good at picking out songs for drummers to drum two. For instants the song testify isn’t really a heavy heavy heavy song which is what you tend to play. But, I also love love love slipknot. So all is good. Me… Just getting older and a few more aches and pains but that’s life. 😊💖💟☮️💟👍It’s a small world after all. 🌎😂🤣😂🤣😂🥸🎶🎵🎶

EARL! All things considered, doing alright my dude. Just middle aged stuff with aging parents and the tricks life will just generally throw at ya. I hated being off the kit that long but I guess at the same time, it was nice to have a break from here. I haven't hit that point yet where I truly don't care and just play what I want. I generally play stuff I like but I'm cognisant of growth. But it's still fun when a tune comes together the right way and as a creator or a player we can be proud of the end result. Missed ya buddy!!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was so happy to see them get Eloy. It seemed like a given at the start but with them, there's always that little bit of not knowing if they'd pull a wildcard. Glad they didn't. Eloy is the best metal drummer out there. And I go so far as to say I'm hard pressed to think of drummers much better in any genre. He can expand so far beyond metal it's ridiculous.
@@TreyBDrums It's a great pick, Eloy can play just about anything he sets his mind to. I just hope it's a long tenure with the band, it gets a bit skittish within the 'Knot sometimes, been a lot changes since Paul passed. I'm glad I got to see "The Nine" in all their splendour in 2008 with Machine Head, both bands blew it up big time! I'm glad Jay got the ST gig and Sepultura has Greyson for the rest of their run; bit of drummer musical chairs but it's worked out well.
