can you briefly explain a hole in a hole in a hole. I found the term through your profile pic. I have read what is available on google but curious how do you see it in inverse order?

I'm not really an expert on the topic but am fascinated by topology. The picture is taken from a problem in Spivak's Comprehensive Introduction to Differential Geometry.
