Nobody is greater than MJ & Iâm no fan. Iâm a Dominique Wilkins guy & I lost thousands betting against MJ. Eventually even I had to admit he was the greatest đ«
man Nique was so fun to watch
@@TheRealMindCrime czcams.com/video/hpSgVHhpoak/video.htmlsi=mI26qWAdt0QrtQak ik it may seem a little rough but through support mutch better quality will fallow
Same. I am a Detroit Pistons fan and loved the bad boys beating him up, but even while my team was abusing him I could see how amazing and tough he was to beat.
Both nique n MJ are far smarter and realistic than their fans either acknowledging Wilt as the goat or the reason why they canât call themselves the goat. Thatâs why I love them both off the court
On the court they are greats of all time fosho
@@Baselinehangtime8 humble is more like it
MJ used to kill my Cavs even though we had better teams the Bulls had the greatest player ever
I grew up in Chicago I saw Jordan live so many times but one Stat they can't tell you is when Jordan was playing crime was down 80% cause everyone was in the house watching Jordan
DIDN'T KNOW THAT. THANKS FOR THE INFO. IT WOULDN'T SURPRISE ME. đ
Just like in Pacquiao's hayday,
Crime was down when he was fighting
WOW!!! đźđźđź
I also grew up in Chicago and when they played the streets were almost empty especially during the playoffs so itâs not a surprise if this is true
I grew up in Chicago and never knew that!!
Consecutive playoff series as leading scorer: MJ 36, Olajuwan 11, Kobe 10, Kareem 9, Malone 9, Lebron 8, Baylor 8, Mikan 8, Iverson 8, Wilt 7, Moses 7, Pierce 7, Dr.J 6, KD 6, T-Mac 6, Barry 5, Bird 5, Shaq 5, West 5, Robertson 5, Nowitzki 5, McAdoo 5, Doncic 5, Carmelo 5
Le fraud only 8 times
Lebum did it twice in the finals but lost both of them in 2017 amd 2018. But mj did it in 1991 and won the finals
Knowing LeBron some of those stats were undoubtedly padded in garbage time.
MJ has standing records from the late 80s, top league records at that.... Greatest of all-time because he just is.
The stats that stick out that prove MJ was better than LeBron is because Michael won 10 Scoring Titles and LeBron just 1 single Scoring Title. That is just way too lopsided. It was 6-4 in Championships and Finals MVPs in favour of Jordan. His Regular Season total for MVPs is 5-4 for Mike. He also averaged 30.1 points per game in the Regular Season and 33.4 in the postseason. All of these numbers are for 15 years in the NBA and LeBron is still a mile away. He's getting ready for season #22.
Michael Jordan The Greatest The Goat đ Of Basketball Period!!!!!!!!
My meniscus ripped in half back in 2018. After my surgery I had to go on medical leave for 4 months and do 56 weeks of physical therapy. During that time, having to wear a full leg brace at all times, I lost strength in my hips. I can only imagine how Jordan felt at the age he was at when it happened to him.
For sure. I tore mine at age 40. It really sucked. Jordan came back really strong considering
ALL lebrons STATS WERE DONE IN A WATERED DOWN WEAK BETAAA LEAGUE... CANT COMPARE ERAS...
He would have walked off the game crying bc its not P.C, if "Wack a brong" was implied
He'd cry and complain even MORE than he's known for now, so he'd be called the QUEEN, acting like a little bitch that he is!!!!!!!
I MADE 62 FREE THROWS IN A ROW. ..FACT ! ... FYI ... MICHAEL JORDAN TAUGHT ME HOW TO PLAY AND SHOOT...
Lebron would go CRYING to the commissioner even MORE for calls if he had to play against those old school Knicks and ESPECIALLY the Badboys Pistons!!!!!!!!!!!
lol nice
In the 90s when WGN went to a superstation, the NBA sued - hey if you can see the bulls on cable then we canât sell TV rights to NBC for truckfulls of money. They argued âMJ *is* the leagueâ. Iâm unaware that being argued for LeBron
My fave - LeBron tried to take over 23 for him. Nope.
I'm Brazilian, I like basketball but my favorite sport is soccer. We have Pelé, just as Argentina has Messi and Maradona, all outstanding, but Jordan's performances put him above all players in team sports.
His achievements, especially in the playoffs, are incredible.
Michael Jordan won by dominating in an incredible way, with incredible numbers and putting on a show on the court.
Pele was very celebrated here in the states when i was growing up too
" WHITE JESUS WALKED ON WATER BLACK JESUS WALKED ON AIR " .... Troy Scott Diaz
lol love it
I looked into how many players that LeBron played with who have a higher career PER (by far the most accurate metric stat) than Scottie Pippen (since LeBron fans have further elevated a good co-star into a top 25 guy to prop up their insecure "king") & I stopped counting at 10. I didn't even include Carmello or Shaq.
That means since 2010, LeBron has played with multiple Pippen level players, & Mike STILL has more finals wins (24-11) than LeBron (22-33)in nearly half the trips. No Lebron-esque game 7 pants-crapping sessions bc Mike didn't let the finals get to a game 7 - ever.
DAAAA GOAT ....DAAAAA BULLS....DAAAAA TRUTH !
Diiiiiikta!
7:34 in 89, Cleveland was an up and coming team. Chuck Daly was worried about them as a rival. Mark Price. Brad Daughrity. Ehlo a tall guard. Then Jordan hits The Shot. And theyâre down for a decade or two.
The shot over Ehlo made everyone realize they have to keep the ball out of MJ's hands!!!!!!!!
agreed
One of the stats that blows my mind the most is never scoring less than 15 points in a playoff game because think of how many playoff games that is -- in 13 years on the Bulls he never missed the playoffs. In so many ways, MJ never let his fans down.
Absolutely. That stat shows that pressure means nothing to this man.
@@TheRealMindCrime never less than 20 in the finals is probably just as impressive...he must have played 30+ finals games. But man, playoff games ...there has to be a ridiculous amount of playoff games. And i bet it was rare for him to score less than 20 in the playoffs too...probably just a handful of games at 15-19.
Nuh unh
he didnt try taking over 23 he was wearing it since he was a kid
@@mugenchamplooo itâs part of his logo. Itâs not a tribute. The whole L23 thing.
The other thing I hated. All of a sudden he goes to 6 in Cleveland. Some BS about how he didnât want to interfere with Jordan. Wait - he then goes to Miami, which also retired 23.
Yeah, the whole âimma going to Miamiâ he telegraphed it. Then after Miami, back to 23
Kobe, in the league, went to 24. Didnât pretend.
wow
I think I remember that 15 pt game was against the Pistons. It was a couple of years before they got their act together under PJ. His teammates were whinging about MJ shooting too much so he took only 6 shots to prove a point, as if to say "OK, you shoot then"
It's why, back from mid to late 80s, kids were reaching out to him like he was modern-day Jesus Christ. Larry Bird was right, he IS God.
26:25 buechler was a volleyball player. I always thought on off days heâd be at North Ave Beach, hat on nobody recognize him, beach volleyball and coors light.
Leading from the bench: Jordan would be cheering the most when the second unit scored.
When Kerr hit the game winning shot in 97 nobody was happier than Jordan. At the Grant Park celebration Kerr was âyep once again I had to bail Michael outâ the crowd roared.
Oh man MJ was so happy to be on the bench when the second unit could finish off a game.
Back then, in Jordans wizards years, 27+points a game, you're a top 5-10 scorer. Most important fact about MJ these days is he's better than bron, so I get 2 troll them clownsđđ
MJ đđđœđđœđđœ
4:45 was watching a rerun of the 96 finals (I actually kinda knew someone, a Chicago based bench warmer for the Sonics) they mentioned that the game 4 and 5 losses were the only back to back losses for months. That was a helluva season
if that's not dominance I dunno what is
If you rewatches those Lebron James finals you can clearly see the stat padding
BUSH WAS A CLASS ACT. ... LOVE THE GUY
for real, he was still funny in the last dance too
CHAMBERLAIN....JORDAN....MAGIC...BIRD ... DIRK ... MY STARTER'S.....
Kareem, Duncan, Bird, Jordan, Stockton are my starters. I need defense in my back court.
oooh nice touch with dirk in there
It's never been a debate. Only lies and delusional bron fans
THANK YOU. đ
100%
Fun fact Dwade Jordan and Kobe are all top 10 for Guards blocking shots and Dwade and Jordan are numbers 1 and 2
4:22 LeBron's 1617 and 1718 Finals were series in which he lost 1:4 and 0:4. LeBron's stats were a result of stat padding which he put up when the team was losing more than 15points.
Remember on all Lebronâs numbers are from mostly layups and dunks. MJ numbers are for jump shots as well. Oh and on the rookie 3% stat he was avg less than 1 three attempted per game. Thatâs why the avg so low and if Iâm not mistaken. They might have just added the 3pt line.
I think the 3pt line was added the season before he got drafted or during that season, I may be wrong though don't come at međ
As soon as I saw the title, clicked on the video straight away without hesitation đ
đ
But LeBalco play with superteam MJ play with one tools Pippen
TMAC was more of a Defender early in his career particularly when he was with the Raptors. Had multiple seasons of 1.5 blocks per game.
MJ also retired with the most career blocks as a shooting guard, a total that was only later surpassed by Dwyane Wade. Of course considering he had something like a 48 inch vertical, and he played defense on the opposing teams' best offensive player regardless of their height or position, he was a bit of a shot blocker too đ
Yupperz. And MJ, wade, and Kobe are my 3 favorite SGs all time. Defense is a big thing for me
Thank You!!! I don't know why Kerr passed that ball to Scottie. Scottie called for the ball just to fire up that cinder block. đ€Šââ
yeah that's not his shot lol. Kerr could've drilled that though
There's no such thing as an individual GOAT in a team sport with multiple positions and multiple playing styles in multiple eras with multiple rules changes. Have a great 4th đ
Shout out to the Bench Mob. Jud, Randy and Jason Caffey had tons of energy.
man they knew their role and friggin loved it! They were great
The main difference is LeBron James did it twice and lost both times Jordan did it and won
One is a stat padder and the other is a padder of stats...not to mention he is undefeated when it matters.
assists back then were 1 dribble max if i recall, that's what i still consider to be an assist
like you said, now they take 2-3 dribbles, pretty much taking up 5+ seconds on the clock and somehow that's still an "assist" lol
may as well count hockey assists as true assists, too
Same. Assists are a joke these days
When Ron broke Jordan's rib, he felt so much remorse. It happened during a pickup game in Chicago. Jordan finished the game by hitting a game winning bucket and THEN walked off the court...lol! Jordan is next level.
That shows just how much MJ loves to compete with anyone willing to challenge him. Not LeBronze...lol
Yup! Lol. Thats how i heard the story from Ron too. MJ still won the damn game đ
@TheRealMindCrime Yeah, I watched a ton of podcasts years ago and heard all.of these crazy Jordan stories. That man is just....differentđđ
Hello I'm first! Have you ever heard of Bruce blitz? He made one of these too you might enjoy.
oh man bruce blitz still making videos? his MJ videos over the years have been amazing
Nice! I'll check him out! Congrsts on being first đ
I RAN ACROSS THAT. IT WAS REALLY AMAZING. đ
MJ taking one of the worst teams in the NBA and making them competitive?!! Lebron needs multiple all stars and really good roll players to be competitive?!?
Way off topic, kind of, you mentioned imagine going to a Metallica concert and the band doesnât show. Metallica and guns n roses toured together in the early 90âs. James Hetfield got burned by some pyrotechnics and had to be hospitalized. Guns n roses could have been heroes but refused to take the stage maybe played a few songs and left and a riot started. Metallica did go back to that city to give them their concert.
I remember that story!
Six wins in the finals, or six losses in the finals. You choose.
Load management is such bs. If u sit out a game when you're 31 ,that doesn't guarantee you an additional game you can play at 38. Best to play when you can
LAZY FLOPPING ERA. THEY MAKE THE GOOD ONES LOOK BAD. IF THEY DON'T PLAY, THEY SHOULDN'T BE PAYED. NO LOVE FOR THE GAME. đđđ
MJALLDAY
Hiya, man I'm overwhelmed too. He's absolutely amazing. đŻ like I keep on saying, there will never be another Michael Jordan. The crazy thing is he could of scored more in a heavy defense era but Jackson wanted to focus more on the team aspect, to take some burden off of him, amongst other reasons. Not saying that's wrong of Jackson but it is what it is. Such an impressive athlete he is. Our goat!! Take care
Oh yeah for sure! If MJ continued playing iso ball like coach collins wanted him to then 35ppg was easy for him. But I don't think that would've led to as many rings. Good thing MJ is coachable cuz though he didn't agree with phil at first he followed his coach and the triangle ended being the perfect offense for them
@@TheRealMindCrime yeah, I agree with you. It's interesting to see how his coaches all had a different approach with him. I think Jackson knew how to get the best out of.
@ 11:40, Luka playoff points average has fallen by more than 1.5 points
That's crazy as a rookie MJ averaged 28 a game shooting all 2's basically and shot 50% from the field
He was always that guy. Just needed a decent team to help.
i think most of his 3-point attempts that time are trying to beat the shot-clock or buzzer beaters, and not that many.
These are crazy lol, one stat that stands out to me is his record for most points in a playoff game, 63, in 86. This was against birds celtics, too. And this was the same year he had broken his foot. How, dude đ
I know right!?
I am a Jason Kidd fan, but MJ is god tier
JKidd was awesome too. Glad he got that ring
Jordan's detractors always talking bout "ohhhh he shot a lot he shot a lot" but was he efficient is the question
Detractors?
@@user-lf6hm5cz9k didn't proof read that's on me and that's what I meant
@@user-lf6hm5cz9k I fixed it bruh just didn't proof read like I should've
yup, always above 50% until his final years
And the highlight reels seem to be endless đ
They never get old lol
17:47 my father in law came in, from Taiwan. A huge bball fan. He played too, well into his 60s. We saw a Bulls Spurs game and all the spurs stars were load managing. Kinda sucked. He never came back to the states. That was his one, ahem, shot.
Yeah this happens. Its not fair to the fans
Vince is just a dunker, vince quicknes wasnt touching mj, vince could definitely jump but mj was better
7:37 Me too. On both sentiments. LOL
Nice! Still hopin my suns get one someday
I knew MJ was the GOAT when people started bringing in off court stuff to boost LeBron's case. Do you know which game that iconic hand switch lay up was against the Lakers? I have seen that highlight a million times but never the full game.
For real. What does lebron being a good dad have to do with being the best at basketball?
What is the big thing you notice on the stat chart for 30 point 10 assist games? I noticed MJ doubling up Lebron in steals and a half a block more a game, for a shooting guard. Lebron even playing as good as he did, was not great on defense. Also, Lebrons turnovers were much higher. Based on that MJ had a much better assist to turnover ratio.
The Cavs were never in that 2017 finals series. The Warriors went up 3-0, Cavs won game 4, then the Warriors closed out in 5. So I see those Lebron stats as not being very impactful. As far as Jordan's 3pt % as a rookie well that was the very 1st time he played basketball with a 3 pt line. The 3 pt line wasn't added to college and HS ball until 1986.
For my money Vince Carter's best dunk was one he missed against Duke in a game in Chapel Hill. Ed Cota came down and threw a lob off glass (Dean Smith was retired then đ) to VC. He was coming down the middle and caught it and dunked it off the heel of the rim...from straight on! That was hella athletic! But the teabag on Weis in the Olympics was epic!
24:47 I always thought these were ugly âwhy the hell do so many people like themâ. Umm 72-10. 15-3. Thatâs why.
(BTW â16 warriors 73-9,15-9 first round was 7 game series, they dropped one)
Yup lol
The salary thing in 95 is what Tom Brady always did. He understood you need talent around you to win that you gotta sacrifice some of that salary to build the team
Yup. You want the max then don't expect to win is always what i say. One or the other.
11:49 the bulls were an up and coming team, oddly as a Chicagoan I watched this more for the legendary Celtics team. They were a killer with probably the best overall front court ever. But MJ torched them.
In 2002 zone defense was made legal. Hand checking was taken out of the NBA in 2006.
Respect for the glove when you see 3 of the worst 6 scoring games MJ had in the finals were in the same finals series in the last three games, when George Karl finally let him go at MJ. Too bad he didn't games 1-3
GP did everything possible to stop mj
@@TheRealMindCrime including talking mad shit as always.
I think the last time i added it up LeBron has missed more than three entire seasons worth of games in his career.
Damn. Sounds right though. Might have more rings if he showed up to work more
Check Statmuse lowest scoring games by Michael Jordan in the playoffs and it will only show 6 games where he scored less than 20 points, and in those 6 games, he shot below 40% just twice. His lowest point total in the playoffs is only 15 points.
Compare it to Lebron, Kobe, Iverson, Kareem, Wilt, all the greats you can spell their names out... Nobody comes close. Lebron? Scored 7 points on 20% shooting, and scored less than 20 more than 10x Jordan. Wilt? 2 points, Kareem? 8 points, Kobe as a starter 8 points.

18:38 I wouldnât mind Lars not being thereâŠ..
Lol I've been saying that since 1996

For the record, the Warriors have never had a superteam đ đ đ why do they keep saying that!
@6:31 I agree it should've been Kerr shooting. I disagree though on him shooting that shot. I know Kerr is a GREAT shooter but the defender is closing out on Kerr pretty quick. I don't think that's a good shot. Pippen had the better look but decided to take a đ©
Lol
Solid Video
Thank you
He only attempted 52 threes as a rookie so I donât think thatâs a good sample size. Any season that he attempted at least 200 threes he finished at least 35% from 3 22:10
Oh MJ...hearing stuff like this...MJ did everything great. The only man who could show up with a hitler moustache and everyone is like...'okay...yeah.'
Hahahahaha
@@TheRealMindCrime do you remember when he went through that short, but memorable, hitler stache phase? Who else could pull that off?

Lol. I mean the phoenix suns
@@TheRealMindCrime đ
If you consider the fact that in the 80s and 90s, 3 point shooting wasn't really part of the game, he wasn't that bad. He was average. By today's standard, yes he sucked. But back then? If you tossed up a 3 without a good fuckin reason, you could be benched as punishment. Today, offenses are literally DESIGNED around the 3 ball. If Michael Jordan would be able to play today, he'd probably not get a big contract unless he worked extensively on his 3 point shot.
King James is the G.O.A.T
Disinformations tht mj23 cant def.? Wasnt he nba all defensive team for many yrs, specially for avg almost 3 steals on top of evreything he was doing..
