- In this episode i'm taking my very own BMW 340i F31 Touring for a blast.
Sensible family car & fun b-road toy, it's perhaps the most complete family car available today. Exhaust is in Sport mode throughout and of course complete with roof-box.

Like the video but id prefer to just hear the perfect sound of the engine and exhaust

Nice video. What color is your 340? It's a beautiful shade of blue. Is it Estoril Blue Metallic?
Thanks! Yes it's Estoril Blue. It used to be a special colour but now it's so common. Still a nice colour though.
Stock exhaust?What kind of tank range are you getting as I am wanting one for going on holidays,Cheers
Yes, completely stock exhaust. It averaged 32 mpg over 2 years, mostly in sport mode mixed town vs. motorway miles. Pretty good considering performance. I have another video with some more noise! 👍

I have an old 335d now and I am hoping to upgrade to a 340i.
Not a lot of them for sale,I really want a touring aswell so even harder.
Is 400 miles per tank realistic just motorway driving?I do quite a few trips on the continent and i was interested what it will do just sat on a motorway.

@@alinm1015 Thanks for the nice comment. You might find that the 335D is slightly quicker but the petrol B58 is so responsive and bags of fun.
You should get 400+ miles per tank and i have even had the mpg into the low 40's as there is an 'ECO' mode. If i'm totally honest, while it's decent on the motorway, it's not where it excels like a 5 series, X-Type or A4 etc.
