Sad that such a great talent was taken away from us so early.
I saw her at their home in Pune twice in those final years, with her husband, our computer science professor, taking loving care of her. She would momentarily perk up when she heard an old recording of herself.
Whenever I listen her singing I skip my heart beat several times.
Gr8 work for people who like classical music but could not learn or have resources to know more about it. Simple commentary with participation from great artists and nice drama presentation. And nice mix of Hindustani and Carnatic music styles. This is just one of many great episodes which include many renowned artists such as Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan and many more. Mahadevan's mix of Hindustani and Carnatic music is some thing unique.
