Glad Calvin has a friend! Herd animals NEED friends! Nice little piece of property!
Wow!! It looks totally different and amazing!!
What a blessing you all stuck together as a family and did this together. Beautiful 🥰❤️
Thank you Elizabeth! 💛
We are doing something very similar (multi-generational on 20 acres)....you're a few years ahead of us though! I haven't met anyone that has had something built and said "man, that went exactly as planned"!!
How awesome! So excited for you guys!
What a blessing to have both of your parents living so close together. You have done a lot in a year.
It’s been amazing being able to watch your guys journey. What a blessing to have both sets of parents so close. You guys are an inspiration. If you are willing to share, it would be fun to see the journey of how you thought you would get to this point compared to how you actually got to this point. My hubby and I are currently trying to save for land, but as you know...prices have skyrocketed. Super happy for you that you guys got the land before that happened!! ❤️
Just commenting because our names are so similar 😅 and mine is spelled Sarah idk how it got h - less
It’s gotta feel so cool knowing you can roam as free as you want
Nicely done guys! Making a lot of progress!
Wonderful vlog!!
Thank you, keep the journey coming!!!
Happy 1st Anniversary! 🎉

So proud
I love this for your family and I’m thoroughly inspired! Well done!❤🎉💯🙏🏽
I've been following since I was pregnant at the same time as you with Aerie. I lost touch with you all after your move into your newer build. Just came to this channel and I am so impressed and just so happy for you all. 2020 was the hardest year in my life to date. And this video has just given me a reminder of peace and that life will get better. Hold to the dreams and think about the big picture. Anyway. Sorry for a long comment. God bless ❤

Thank you Lindsey! We appreciate your love and support all these years so so much 💛
You are productive. Beautiful property
Unbelievable!!! I remember that day - a year?? Incredible how much you guys have built and created. May you continue to go from strength to strength in good health! Congratulations! PS I would love (at some point) a video about some of the matters on which you changed your perspective through this first year in particular.
Time has gone so fast hasn’t it? Thanks for being here along the ride 💛
Love this. We are moving to 6 acres later this year and have so many plans! Thank you for sharing!
How amazing! You are going to LOVE it!
@@regenranch Thank you. It's northern Scotland so very cold and wet most of the year but we are excited!
Bless u all😊👍👏💎💎💎💎💎💎
I don’t know if you will see this but I wanted to share it.
Use your over abundance of cucumbers to make Red Hot Cinnamon Pickles!
They are delicious!!!!!!
Where can I find the first video where you guys actually set up and made the garden 1 year ago from this vlog. I watched it a while ago but I can't seem to find it anymore on any of your vlog channels.
What type of electric fence/electric tape are you using for the chickens? What type of fence are you using for Lavender and Calvin? Is it partially electric too?
Pickles the cucumbers, and can the tomatoes. Homemade salsa, and start a fruit stand ☺️
Yes we have done that with both as much we could. We had a ton, and not enough time as we mentioned with everything else ☺️
@@regenranch we just moved from Ca to Pa in April. Honest boxes (money boxes) are left locked on tables or handmade vegetable boxes, and people sell produce all along back country and main roads around here. Maybe give that a whirl 🙂 We’ve personally bought from them. They also do that with bundles of wood around here. We’ve been slowly stocking up for winter from the road side wood sales.
Will you guys be eating the eggs from the chickens?
What made you decide to let Lavender have free roam at night vs Calvin? Also, how did you get them used to coming into the barn? (I'm a new subscriber but recently bought 20 acres myself in Idaho)
This is a dumb question but since there are three homes all together do you all share the same address?
❤️🙏🏼🇺🇸
Y'all have many many years ahead to build up the property how yall want it...it doesn't have to be done all at once or in a certain time frame.
Exactly, that’s how we feel!
What happened to the laying hen?
We talk about that more in the next vlog!
The house by Ryan's parents is not part of your property?
Nope, it is not!
@@regenranch they look close like they are part of the family. 🤣😂

I am just wandering - Is this a religious thing (which is fine), Is this like a David Koresh compound kind of thing?? How do you make money? Most families don't live with there inlaws and parents living on the same property. It's kind of weird.
Lol 🤣 no not a religious thing. A lot of families actually do this, especially as of lately with the current state of the world. It was what was normal before the Industrial Age hit actually 🤪 I suppose a lot of families couldn’t do this anymore because most people do not have healthy enough relationships to be able to handle the close proximity. My parents and my husbands just happened to become best friends early on in our relationship (10+ years ago). My husband, my mom, and my father-in-law all have worked from home for several years! So we had the flexibility to move wherever we wanted. We have always planned to buy land and build houses on it because we like being around one another. Being able to have our kids grow up so close to their grandparents is truly a blessing we will never take for granted!
Serious? The happiest people I know are those that live with their relatives on or near the same property snd that’s the way it’s been most of humanity. Always having support must be amazing.
My dad lived with us till he passed away. Great to have grandparents around. Amish do it all the time. The normal way of life for thousands of years. ❤
Do you actually take a phone call? I heard you mentioned Jesus and now want to speak with you.
“5 yr old steer” what??!!! No steer on the planet lives past 28 to 30 months tops. Turn him into hamburger already!!
