ᴴᴰ R179 C train via A line to Far Rockaway - Automated Announcements - From 168 Street to Mott Ave

- In one of my longest videos yet, here are the automated announcements from a R179 for a reroute C train to Far Rockaway Mott Avenue via the A line after Euclid Avenue. Normally C train terminate at Euclid Avenue, but on certain occasions, such as the one recorded here, they can be extended to Ozone Park Lefferts Blvd or the Rockaways.
From Washington Heights - 168 Street Manhattan to Far Rockaway - Mott Avenue on the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens via 8 Avenue Local / Fulton Street Local / JFK Airport / Hammels Wye .
The only difference i notice between the R179 Version and the R160 Version is the Delay between the route announcement and the "The next Stop Is" announcement along with a gap between station announcements and the transfers being announced.
Current as of January 2019.
Its better off perm extending C train to lefferts blvd and c train will do the lefferts blvd shuttle instead of A

Sometimes I just listen to the announcements without watching the vid but I watched it this time lol (13:36)
I’ve noticed on the E/J/M/Z lines the R179 “The Next, Stop is” and “This is” announcements are recorded by Kathleen, why is that?
Did the C stay there? Or did it go back. If so there may be a R179 A out there.

I think no more A to Lefferts Blvd. The C Trains should terminate at Lefferts Blvd and have the A's go to the Rockaways. Then at night, the C would just be a shuttle to/from Euclid Av

And this would eliminate long waiting times by having the A trains operating the split schedule between Lefferts Blvd and the Rockaways. This schedule definitely would make more sense!

That was a long time ago. The C was the CC train and Broaway junction on the A and c lines was called Broaway - East New York
