Thank you so much! This has probably been the most helpful video that breaks everything down for newbies! Now I have an idea of how to organize and what I will need!

This is very helpful! This will be our 3rd year home schooling. We were using Abeka Academy but I’m thinking about trying BJU press. I have struggled with organization so I will try this out!

Thank you! Abeka was definitely easier to organize with the crate system but I prefer BJU over Abeka so it was totally worth coming up with a way to organize the kit so that the year would flow smoothly. I had no issues at all with this system and with BJU’s homeschool hub it made life even easier. Good luck !

I’ve considered trying BJU many times. We have tried their writing and grammar. It’s such a great program. This was helpful to see how you organize. Thanks for sharing. Just subscribed. Looking forward to how your year went and going. I also have a channel with tons of homeschooling content and would love to be friends and connect here 😊

Thank you for your message! I LOVED the BJU curriculum last year and so did my daughter. I highly recommend them for homeschooling. With their digital homeschool hub it was so much easier to organize her grades and submit reports throughout the year to the district. It was really so helpful to have. You’re more than welcome to message me any time if you have any questions. I’m happy to help. Thanks for watching. :)

@@princessss42 that is awesome!! Thanks for the advice and quick response. Would the program be hard with multiple kids in varying ages. My kids are 3-12 years old.

@@TheChan7 Of course, you’re very welcome! I do not have experience with multiple ages yet, as my son is also only 3 and I plan to start him when he’s in Kindergarten but I would say because of the BJU Homeschool hub it would be fairly easy to help you organize all of their grades and any reports you would need for your district. The hardest part I would think is keeping up with the support that your kids may need for each subject /checking worksheets and the initial investment of time that you would need to organize the year if you were to do it ahead of time like I talked about in the videos. (Using the crate or cart systems) But again, I really enjoyed using BJU and highly recommend them. I had no issues along our journey into 2nd grade and any questions I had along the way, BJU’s staff answered them promptly and professionally. I wish you best of luck ! -Elena

One other thought- if you order the kit with the videos, your older children can easily navigate through their day on their own digitally after the first few days or so of getting used to their routine. So that would be easier on you. My daughter was 6 going on 7 when we started last September and she picked it up right away. I would just check in on her every now and then to make sure she was ok. So you may need to do that with your younger children. As for organization, if I had to school multiple children, I would probably organize each child with their own crate or perhaps for a more economical way, only use one crate and just put the first quarter of work into it and organize each child with a different color folder for the week. (So you’d have one green hanging folder with several different color folders within it containing each child’s workload for week 1 and so on.) Then when the quarter ends, empty it and fill it up with quarter 2 etc. Let me know if that makes sense ! 🙈 It can be hard to explain without visuals.
