This was one of my mom's favorite bands. I introduced them to her and she became a big fan even though it wasn't her genre of music. I miss her everyday and this song always makes me think of her. Beautiful song. Rest in peace momma. 3/26/2017

This is a Offspring cover
that piano chord in the beginning straight up gives me the chills everytime.
These dudes know how to write a song to have such heavy emotion and weight to it.
Not to mention that epic guitar solo with the synth added to it.
This is one of the few songs where my heartstrings get tugged on a few times. I knew a few buddies who served and are no longer with us today. RIP my marines.

Today is October 18th. My baby cousin would have 38 today. He left us 3 years ago. I hear this version of this song and it draws his memory into my heart and mind. I will always love and miss you, kid. Say hello to your dad for me.

FFDP nails every cover they make. Every time.
Check out the band Allegaeon, and the Rush covers they did. It's somewhat odd to listen to a hardcore/deathcore style vocalist do Geddy Lee style cleans, but they wanted to do those songs justice, and they most certainly did just that.

I love this song I really do. I love the new and improved Ivan Moody. He has cleaned up nicely. He doesn't sound as angry as he normally does in his music videos. Definitely worth listening to. I love Five Finger Death Punch so much I want to see them in concert so bad.

I used to listen to The Offspring's version of this all the time, after my mom passed away 10 years ago, and I'm all in my feels, I'm sorry.
The Offspring’s version is forever a classic rock song, but I can’t stop listening to this version. Something about it, whether it be Ivan’s more somber tone in his voice or the piano in the background, I just prefer this version to the original. Just one of those rare cases I guess. 🤘

David Hope it reminded me of my uncle who I barley knew, he passed on in a military truck or car that blew up he died along with his friend, he was a soldier and he was a sniper but the day he died he didn't do the sniping. :(
