- Welcome back TIP SQUAD, In this video get ready to see something I haven't done in a long time. That was riding on the bike. Well hubbies clutch cable went out as soon as we pulled up to the Harley-Davidson dealership. No better place to break down but nevertheless his bike was unrideable. Tiff I replaced mine with a Fat Baggers design replaces the cheap plastic design with aluminum housing and adjuster . This is a major design fault with the clutch cable and incapacitates the bike.Check it!! Sorry you had the issues keep up the great work !!

Always sticks when a clutch cable breaks. Especially trying to ride with out a clutch cable just to get to your destination had to that at least once

How does a big HD dealership NOT have a standard clutch cable for your ride??? That's crazy!!!!
Its an extended cable because of taller bars
Hard to believe the dealer didn’t have a clutch cable in stock. I love my hydraulic clutch on my road glide special. Those whose ride with the clutch cables carry a spare.

It will break again they are made from cheap plastic, just like the shifter rod this is a weak link as well. Not if but when! I ordered a EZ Clutch adjustment from Fat Baggers to eliminate the headache . Best $50 I spent. I’m happy to see you guys made it there safely and have a safe ride to Florida.

Put a Fat Baggers on steel adjuster end on that cable and you can adjust the cable normally and not with that plastic spring loaded end. Makes the adjustment exact and takes the strain off the cable when not pulled... My cable end kept stripping that red plastic insert. So bad I carried 3 spares...

Too funny girl!!!!, I'd have put his butt on the back! with that said, my hubby has ridden backpack style on both my RGS or his SGS for various reasons. My bike, my choice if I ride or drive, plus he's always trying to take Elmer (mascot lime green and yellow snake) off my handle bars, and Mamba (my bike) don't like that. Pros to riding I get to snuggle up behind him and tell him how to drive, when to shift, to slow down, speed up..... Yup I'm take kind of passenger! Hope Shirley's parts come in quick. Ride safe and enjoy.

I just think it's quite the load of BS that a clutch cable on a bike breaks at the dealership and they don't have one in stock to replace it, And you have to wait for them to order one for ya before you can get it fixed.

Tiffany I'm be straight up with you about Harley-Davidson shop in Fayetteville North Carolina I took my bike there and they messed it up first time and last time they won't never get another dollar from me blackjacks Harley-Davidson shop let me know what they had done wrong and what makes it so bad I told them put it on the dyno and lied about it and the money that I give them it really frustrates me about that and just the way they talk to me and I was a customer it was unbelievable me this is one customer they won't never get no more money from me they didn't appreciate my money that i had to go work for and trust me I'm not the only one that's talked about Harley-Davidson shop Fayetteville North Carolina I'm just being straight up about it and keeping it real
