I love the implication that Irys as hope guides people to where they would excel and be happy in life, seeing her appear for a second just to catch Gura's attention towards the Hololive poster before disappearing was so cool.

Glad to see her gills depicted on the sides of her chest. They rarely get mentioned and have been absent from so many artworks... I think they are a stroke of genius and wrap up the concept and lore nicely.

First thing I thought was gills too, though I dunno if they were ever shown in official artwork before.
@@KeiosKod Pretty sure all official artwork always had clothes fully covering her torso. She mentioned her gills as early as her bathtub stream though, and they came up a couple of times since.
They pay attention to the fans. They knew what we wanted and gave her design cute gills. Masterpiece.

it was trending you just missed it. this animation was at the beginning of gura's live 3D concert and then uploaded to youtube as a premiere shortly after the end of the concert so talk about it was bundled in with talk of her 3D Live

@@scottydu81 The Trololol guy did write lyrics. It was supposed to be a song about cowboys, but the USSR nixed it. Then ordered him to perform anyway without a song prepared. So he "sang" the song without lyrics.

Making me curious of Origin of Ollie story now.
I just realized that Gura showing up naked on the beach is actually super accurate to her lore since she told that story about how when she first got her model it glitched out and became naked next to the other myth members.

This is exactly the type of story that I had in my head. 11/10 lore, 11/10 animation and 12/10 cute noises.

@@cameronreitmaier9334 During testing of their streaming assets, she accidentally showed her model that had either glitched or was incomplete and therefore loaded without the clothing. This was before debut and not on a publicly available stream, only her genmates saw anything.

The little sounds she makes make me want her to do VA work on anime now, its unironically one of the harder parts to get right and she does its so perfectly that I think she would nail the rest of it aswell.
The posters on the wall at 2:09 are a clever detail. Especially the "Missing" poster for Ollie's pre-zombie identity Olivia.
That's kinda a depressing detail to think about.
