Hi Marie,love the first outfit,and the blue didsy print dress.I liked everything,if the patterned pants feel too tight on your legs don’t bother with them,because I have seen you in pants that fit better.I wore shape wear all my life,always been fat,but now at 79 I no longer wear them,I thought I deserve to be comfortable,but I still try to dress well,and I’m very lucky,as I look much younger than my age,at least so everyone says.😂

I don’t like tapered leg for that very reason. I find I have to keep pulling them down as they ride up my leg ! I liked the look of the Kaki coloured dress shame you could try it on. Thanks again for doing this haul, I love your hauls and choices you make.
Oh Maria you poor thing. I have had a number of falls and ended up in A&E two or three times. As a result of this I’m very careful. We have just had a shower cubicle fitted and I have an anti-slip on the base as is very slippery without it, I hope you soon feel better.

Loved the haul Maria especially the last dress. I hope your back gets better soon although I did a similar thing whilst I was away on holiday and I was in so much pain that I went to the doctors when I arrived back home and got checked over but fortunately I hadn’t broken anything. The doctor said that it would take quite a long while to heal which it did but I am fine now xxx

I have a heated back and neck pad that I bought from Amazon and it really eases the pain. My favourite shapewear is a full length slip which smooths me out under dresses but is not restrictive in any way, cannot bear the pants these days especially around my waist.
Sorry to hear you've hurt your back. Hope you don't mind my suggestion to see a Chiropractor re your back injury. They will get you sorted. I see one on a regular basis. Love the green top and trousers. Look lovely on you

Hi Maria, you looked lovely in all the clothes I especially liked the last green leafy dress. I invested in shapewear slips last year - they are in my drawer never been worn! Each time I think about wearing one I say to myself next time as they’re not comfortable in my opinion and at 66 comfort rules 😂

I love that outfit on you. The trousers do look snug so maybe upsize on those for comfort. That dress looks nice on you as your complexion is rosy. I am anaemic so got pale skin so got to ae colour in my clothes. The blue mix dress is nice on .H@M have khaki pull on top dresses there as they are new in. I love that green dress on you. Evening Maria what a great haul. I bought a couple of dresses in Matalan a few weeks back. They were very reasonable. I only really wear shape wear for special occasions. I wear a slip type one that you wear with your own bra. M&S sell them and I find them better for me than shapewear pants or all in one with built in bra. Sorry to hear about your fall. A good haul from Matalan. I have a few summer dresses from there and yes they are all good quality and wash really well. The first outfit was lovely and summery but why are trousers so long these days. I am 5ft 1 and even the petite ranges are usually too long😩. I am afraid of doing exactly what you did so I always put the towel or the bath mat on the floor of the shower whilst I'm cleaning. Take it easy and I hope it soon feels better. Take care Kay

I now have a clear plastic mat in the shower, which I actually bought at matalan. My husband is going through the same. Been suffering a few weeks now. Doctor says it's muscular. Paracetamol and exercises to do. Also a hot water bottle and I've been rubbing deep heat or he's used heat patches. Congratulations on your 4k subscribers. Well deserved xx
