You should definetly be able to move on trekkers in my opinion
I think not moving on trekkers would be really cool but if you feel like moving on trekkers is gonna make you feel better then it should be ok
I mean the whole point of not moving when others move Is(wait I don't know your intention, if it is just entertainment then it should be ok if you move, but if it's sort of to flex then I really think you should maintain that no moving, if it's to learn or something then either should be fine.)

I agree that you should be able to move on the trekker rounds. I understand why you don't on the normal rounds as that is how most of the pro tournaments are ran. No move + consistent big scores = pro life

Moving in trekker rounds is absolutely fair, playing country streaks in GeoGuessr has a abundance of trekker footage that is sometimes impossible to identify which country you are in. However, it would be interesting to see a GeoGuessr tournament or duel where the locations are just only official and unofficial trekkers.
A tip for guessing in Greece . In 1:29 you can see on the right side of your screen a structure with blue see-through glass which is an automated staircase/elevator for the Greek metro which is only in Athens. You should be guessing around the coastline from Eleusina to Glyfada to the left of Athens but simply clicking on Athens on the map should be good points
I think so, you should be able to move in trekker rounds. like you said, they put you at a huge disadvantage
I have a mild preference for you to keep it a pure no-moving challenge because that will be such a satisfying achievement at the end.
However, I'm just a very casual player myself and would happily defer to what the more experienced and dedicated players among your viewers think is fair and reasonable. I don't really mind if you move on trekkers, so long as you and everyone else are enjoying things! (I suppose an option might be some kind of limit - you can only move on trekkers once you've hit a certain rank, or - as someone else said - have a limited reasonable number of moves.)
Either way, I'm here for all your ups and downs, no matter how long this series takes. Thanks always for your dedicated, interesting content!
Don’t care about the non moving part at all. It’s just something you want to do for the extra challenge, but for many of us… we just want you to crush them all :)

I feel like moving on trekkers is fair! Trekkers are literally a loss if u don't know them on world map so it's a huge disadvantage that u can't move on them. But I do feel that if the trekker gives enough info about the location u should still play nm :).

I think having 3 moves on trekker rounds would even the playing field. That way its still a challenge to choose a direction etc, but certainly makes it a bit easier.

To distinguish Bogota from Medellin, I usually look at trees and mountains. Bogota is rather cold, so palm trees are an indication we may not be in Bogota. Also, Bogota has a large mountain range to the east, while Medellin is built in the middle of high hills. So if you see mountains only in the east, it might be Bogota. Also, the World Map in Poland seems heavily biased towards Katowice, so unless I have a specific reason to go elesewhere, I click near Katowice instead of the capital.
Think 2 or 3 moves each direction on trekker is the way to go. Amazing vid btw, keep those coming, we love 'em!

I think moving in trekker is ok, but if you move and end up on a road and normal coverage you shouldnt move anymore. For example if you spawn in a museum etc and click somewhere and end up outside the house its back to no move
Those crossed stones don't necessarily mean 30 kmph, they often are found in those zones though
Id be rich if i had a dollar every time you clicked off in the rural areas on this map when its always the capital area and then told us, yeah its usually the capital.
Just a tip for that Singapore/Malaysia round - despite Malaysians being multilingual (with many speaking both English and Malay/Chinese), the official language is Malay and hence all road signs are in Malay in Malaysia (one obvious example is the red BERHENTI stop sign). So for that round, seeing CAUTION in English would only be possible in Singapore. In the cases where you do see English on road signs in Malaysia, it'll always be a dual-language road sign and so there would be both Malay AND English.

Here's a video idea: you play minecraft hardcore, but every minute you have to guess the right country on a turn of geoguessr, leaving minecraft open- you have to survive in minecraft until you find diamonds xD
Yes, I think you should move on trekkers. I get the idea of not moving in general for what you are trying to do but trekkers are another world when it comes to no moving.

Moving on trekkers sounds fair because you cant always get inforamtion that is usally available on a normal google car round and its very hard to practice those rounds aswell
The world map is made in such a way so that it's not too hard and not too easy and more capitals because it is made for all the folks playing GeoGuessr, not for just the top 1% experts.

It's so frustrating when you start losing although you think that you're not playing that bad. Don't know why, some days are good and others just as bad as it can get. You'll recover the position sooner than later surely
At the beginning I would have said no moving on trekker either, but now you will always get good opponents so I say you shoud be able to move

How would moving on trekkers significantly help? It's usually in areas where you cant see much signage,so guessing quickly is probably better. But i may be wrong, the 1k+ players just know so much!
Is there a trekker only map you could practice?
I wanted to say a tip. In Greece in these Green bins you often see the county so you can see Greek language. So if you're in a 50/50 it might help!
If you're going to play no move you should be guessing within 3-5 seconds every round. I think your recent slide is because 1) you hit the top 250 players and they're good and 2) you're giving opponents too much time.

No, moving on trekkers is like scoring goal as offside and still counting it. It should not count as "no moving" record then. I am not sure if changing the format completely to favor you is really "fair" to the whole no moving challenge.

Polish and Hungarian ARE quite confusing as you said early on btw, the "sz" is pronounced a normal english S sound in Hungarian, and a Hungarian S on it's own is pronounced like an english "Sh", but it's the other way around in Polish with the pronunciations, and both languages use "sz". Also Hungarian only has diacritics above vowels. áéíöőüűú. These are the only ones, either dotted or one-directional. Good thing to keep in mind. Lots of similarities to other languages (i.e like Polish) but hope that helps.

imo they should do some sort of rework on the world map, remove some stupid trekker locations just because this map is used for ranked purposes, personally i dont rly mind since ill just yell "get good noob" to myself but based on how most people think of the map, a rework/edit should please lots of people

I'd advocate not only to continue No Moving (NM) settings but also would encourage NCNC settings! Obviously, it'd be tough to get to number one, but seeing as how you've maintained 1100+ and held even 1200+ rating with NM settings, it'd be interesting to see how you'd fare. Possibly still 1100+.
There is no way to do NCNC on competitive. It involves a script, and those are illegal to use in game, even if it is punishing you.
I think you should stick with no moving across the board… I mean who cares if the series lasts forever imo

Move on trekker. When it's a rural trekker, moving rarely gives any advantage but those trekkers in attractions and monements often stand one step away from the language clue, where it makes a difference between not knowing the continent and knowing the exact place.
Dude, if you want to move on every round I wouldnt blame you. Let alone on trekkers. I doubt more than 10 people in the top 100 are playing NM, and lmost certainly none of the top 10.

Front plate meta is a bit off. Here in NY those of us with nice cars dont put screw holes into our front bumpers for the useless front plate. I run just a custom text back plate in NY on my car. Refuse to ruin the bumper of a new car.
