Yea man after more than 10 years of skating I really messed up my spine and back bone but now I’m healing and when I’m healed fully I will come back but stop with the gnarly jumps,and adrenaline which shuts the pain, focus on balance, I had almost no switch and nollie game , that was my mistake, which caused crooked left side. I really love Tyson Peterson too and he’s vans shoe is awesome. Hope you or anyone skating too gnarly and not with balance and patience learns something from me here .

Dude his trick selection is heat in this. Wasn't a bunch of super tech shit, just brute force and commitment. His street skating is definitely a breath of fresh air.

Honestly, just give this guy SOTY. Not because of any medal or other competition victories, but because he's BEEN ahead of the curve. Plus, you can see he's a skate rat who doesn't always need to build himself up; he lets his art speak for itself. Personally, I view him as skateboarding's new worldwide ambassador. He's the future!!

Instead of skating more contests after the Olympics, yuto got right to the streets and traveled to film a part. Big ups.
Absolute monster. I really get the feeling that he does contests because he likes them. The Olympics is different because it’s historic and you get to rep your country but I think he likes competing in sls and all that. He’s def not a “contest skater” and drops some of the heaviest parts. Def big ups

Okay, now I’m not mad that he wasn’t in SLS this season. Those three minutes of skateboarding purity and gold were worth it. Such classic stuff: regular shove it’s, switch hill bombs, plenty of SF footy, so many trick he doesn’t usually do, and then the ender holy shit… I could not have asked for anything better. I know he’s not the normal formula for thrasher to make SOTY but damn that would be pretty left field amazing if they gave it to him. Also, wish Sora Shirai would come out with something soon…

Yup as soon as I saw him cancel the first SLS event and the same weekend Kev Perez posted Instagram stories of them in San Francisco, I knew they were coming out with a part.
When we needed him the most, he came back. Fire part. Love that ninja style ender. Excited to see what’s next from him!

Holy shit. his first trick nollie bs 180 to pw fs smith was insane. then a nollie heel bs nose slide 270 shuv out down clipper. and his ender nollie 270 sw bs lip dowm hollywood 16... wow. spittin straight fire 🔥
The fact that is part opens with that trick. Not to mention how effortlessly he executed it. That trick was better than a lot of other skaters enders in the last few years. This kid is next level.

i feel the same, sickest trick in the part for me, mainly the reason is i used to do nollie backside 180 switch 5-0's, tried it into smith grind once and that shit was hard as hell just on a ledge, i got a tapper one, but i could never imagine pulling this trick on a hand rail, super scary, super insane.
