I have the Explore Air 2, I just upgraded in January from my Cricut Expression which works amazingly, but I cannot use Design Space. My cartridges were enough. I am sure I would be over the top with a Maker, but then I am also sure I would never see the light of day. The Explore fits perfectly for me. I love the mask you cut out, I cut it as a pattern and that has been great. Thank you for this and you other Cricut videos. I love how straightforward and uncomplicated your descriptions are.

Not to mention, there are so many other great crafting ideas I have seen using various materials I’d love to use this with. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for sharing this video. I was going to get the Maker, but realized that I don’t sew like I used to and don’t see a use for cutting tissue paper as of yet. The only thing I might want to try are the thinner woods. That being said, I bought the VERY OLD school Cricut that initially hit the market and this would be my next foray into the Cricut world. With all that being said, I’ve decided on getting the Air 2. I’m gonna be getting a Cricut Joy and I’m so excited! Can you do a video of print-then-cut on the Joy? I’ve seen it be done in videos from smaller channels so it’s definitely possible. My theory on why you “can’t” do it on joy is because the printable vinyl is too wide. I figured if you cut the paper to be less wide after it has been printed it would be cut-able on the joy (with a mat ofc)

What a marvelous presentation! I hope you do other videos showing how to use the machines or how to manage difficult projects that may come up with the Cricket machines. You do it so well. Explain things so thoroughly and clear. I've gone back and forth between the Maker and Air 2 but think I'll settle on the Maker because of the 3-D effect of thicker items it cuts and to be able to get more variety with the finer, more delicate things. Thank you so much.

I have a Scan n Cut SDX, but, the mats lose their stick really quickly and cutting fabric is a pain. I've seen the Maker on offer at Costco and I'm tempted to add the Maker to my craft room. Thank you for helping me make my mind up.

I live in south Texas. I’ve always heard it called DEE CALS. Thank goodness you clarified. I would have never known what you were talking about. Lol. I can only vouch for my area of the United States.

I decided to go with the maker! Even though realistically I probably would’ve been fine with the explore air 2, I wanted to future-proof my cricut just in case I wanted to venture out and try different things with it. Plus I’m going to be a teacher so I think the maker will be great! I also got the everything bundle with mine so I’m super excited to get it next week!! Amazing video! 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️👌🏾

I would love the maker, because I love to sew and that would make cutting patterns easy and fast
