They probably wouldn’t get along within the killing games, but IMO in a HPA au they’d get along well, as there’d be much lower stress levels. Nagito is likely not acting that off because of how awful his life has been, but Kokichi is definitely putting up a huge facade. I think that if written well they could have a great friendship. Though, of course, if you took them as they were at the beginning of chapter 5, and threw them into a room (like the “reaction room” in this kind of video, not a bedroom lol), they would not get along. I understand you probably already get this and I don’t need to clarify, but within this person’s ayu there’s probably some kind of backstory there. Within canon, they have never met. They could not possibly be friends. They have an approximately 52 year age difference based on the V3 ending stuff. I don’t really understand the point you are trying to make. Not meaning any of this in a rude way ofc!!

I feel like Nagito and Kokichi are the type of people that need to know someone’s personality and actions so that they could formulate good plans by using them as pawns. So they would hate the fact that they are both too similar for them to get an accurate read on one another. 3) If they were in the same game, Hajime and Shuichi would also be in the same game which will cause problems. Both Kokichi and Nagito got a protagonist that they would antagonize which will cause problems when they are both doing it at the same time. +Ingame them would definitely be very stressful. They would both act dumb or lie to get everyone on the same page which will take forever and it would be annoying. (I like the idea that Nagito can definitely see through Kokichi’s lies, he’s probs one of the only ones able to. Kokichi would also be able to probably tell when Nagito is actually being fr or if nagito is just putting up an act) However, I feel like they would likely be friends in a school or more normal setting. Like I said before, they are similar so they would be able to look through each other’s masks. I feel like this would already make them friends because they understand each other.
