Trump May Have Finally Broken The Republican Party For Good

  • If you're mad about Donald Trump and the damage he's done to American politics, you need to direct your anger at the Supreme Court. Their decision in Bush v Gore paved the way for Donald Trump to enter politics decades ago, by allowing a completely incompetent and irresponsible Republican to win that race by halting the ballot counting in Florida. They put us on this path, and Trump is their end result. Farron Cousins explains how this happened.

You know, I've been doing these Q and as, um, for for many years now. You know, putting out there, asking for questions. And honestly, and this is kind of amazing, like one of the most common questions I get every time I ask for questions for q and a, I get this question asked multiple times by multiple different people every time I do it. And the question is this, this one in particular happens to come from, uh, Donovan Finley 8 1 3 1. And I know, I'm pretty sure 'cause I recognize that name. I think I've answered your questions in the past. But Donovan Finley asks, how does the Republican party change after Trump is gone? They've shown how far they're willing to go to accommodate a narcissistic want to dictator, convicted felon. So can they move past him when he's gone? Or is it just who they are forever or at least until their eventual collapse?
I think the answer is yes and no. Yes, they fall apart and no, they don't fall apart. And here's what I mean by that. Donald Trump has exposed a lot of the rot that has existed for decades within the Republican party going back all the way to Nixon, right? Republicans like, oh no, Nixon is a bad guy, he's a criminal, but we're, we're done with him. We right, we're just, we're just your normal Republicans all, we just wanted some tax cuts around here. We're we're totally the good guys. Well they weren't. They had the covert racism, you know, covert xenophobia, taking all the corporate money, letting corporations pollute everything. But they did it all behind the scenes. The only difference between the Republican party of Old and the Republican Party of Donald Trump is that Trump does it out in the open. And because of that, he has inspired other Republicans to also do it white out in the open.
And these Republicans aren't being punished for it. Trump aligned Republican members of Congress, members of the Senate do win elections. They win elections using his same rhetoric and sometimes using rhetoric that's even far harsher than he uses. Those people are not gonna suddenly start losing elections once Donald Trump is gone. Something has been awakened in this new Republican party. So when Trump is gone, this new thing that it's become continues to survive, the question is, is it worth saving? And the answer of course is no. So what I believe happens, and again this is probably 10, 20 years down the road, may, maybe sooner maybe, but we start to see the fracturing of this party. And we've already seen it by the way, on the left. We have seen it happening since the 2016 election. A fracturing where you've got the, you know, hardcore kind of Bernie Sanders progressives versus the more establishment moderate Democrats.
Now over here you've got the moderate establishment Republicans and then the back crap crazy people. And there's plenty of people in that back crap crazy category. Enough to where if the party were to break and fracture, you would have two separate parties. So that's why it's yes and no, the party survives, but it survives as two separate things. And maybe that's not a bad thing. We need more viable political parties here in the United States. Viable being the key word. So if we were to have a moderate Democrat party, a moderate Republican party, a further left progressive party and a way far crazy right? Um, crazy party, we'll call it. I think it's apt description. That may not be a bad thing. We could have multiple different parties, we could have multiple different viewpoints, multiple different kinds of people being elected and working together. 'cause I don't think many people over here would end up being elected, but we could start to see real change. So that would actually be a good thing. So maybe Donald Trump destroying the Republican party might be what finally gives us better choices in elections in the future.

You were so angry, you refused to leave. You called all your friends to come and vandalize the workplace. When you did leave, on your way out of the office you took a lot of the company's confidential documents. And when you got caught, you refused to give many of them back. DEMOCRAT Billions of Taxpayer Dollars Wasted on Fraud and Abuse
In 2021, according to the Government Accountability Office, the government spent at least $279 billion in known improper payments - an 8.6% improper payment rate - equivalent to more than $2,000 per household. The vast majority of those improper payments are concentrated in welfare programs.
According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), The 2022 Medicaid improper payment rate was 15.62%, or $80.57 billion (it was over 21.7% in 2021). In addition, for CHIP, the 2022 improper payment rate was 26.75%, or $4.30 billion (it was over 31.8% in 2021).
As for Food Stamps, a 2019 report by the Governmental Accountability Office estimates fraud could cost taxpayers anywhere from “$960 million to 4.7 billion.”
In 2021, the Child Tax Credit cash grants had a 13% improper payment rate, costing taxpayers more than $5.2 billion. The IRS projects that 28 percent of Earned Income Tax Credits are improperly paid.
A January 2023 Government Accountability Office report suggested at least $60 billion was lost to fraudulent Unemployment Insurance payments since the start of the pandemic. Some estimates by outside experts say as much as $400 billion, or nearly half, of unemployment benefits paid during the pandemic may have been stolen.
      Improper payment rates by program:
      Medicaid: 15.6% - $81 billion
      CHIP: 27% - $4.3 billion
      Child Tax Credit: 13% - $5.2 billion
COVID Unemployment Insurance: nearly 50% - $400 billion
      Food Stamps: 6.18% - $960 million - $4.7 billion *** source, BUDGET COMMITTEE

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - - - Ahead of the expiration of key components of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2025, the WAYS and MEANS COMMITTEE is examining pro-growth and pro-family policies to determine how best to build on its success. Under the 2017 Trump tax cuts, real median household income increased by $5,000 and real wages rose by 4.9 percent in the two years after the legislation was signed into law. The economy grew an entire percentage point faster than projected, and the trend of American companies leaving the United States to set up headquarters in other parts of the world came to an end.
If the Trump tax cuts are not extended, working Americans would face a record tax hike and the economy would suffer in the years to come:
Starting in 2026, the average family of four making $75,000 will see their taxes increase by $1,500 if Congress does not take action.
Main Street businesses will face a 43.4 percent tax rate.
Working parents will suffer from a Child Tax Credit slashed in half.
More family-owned small businesses, farms, and ranches will be hit by the death tax and forced to sell land and other assets to pay a big tax bill.
While Congress is debating how to protect working families from higher taxes and help American businesses better compete, grow, and create jobs, President Biden’s latest budget proposes $7 trillion in tax hikes on families, farmers, and small businesses.

The electoral college isn't going anywhere without a 2/3 vote both the Senate and the House. The odds of Dems ever getting to those numbers right now, are slim. Maybe in 2-4 years, if Dems can get back the House and keep the Senate with Dem senators united to getting rid of the filibuster. That way the stalled Voting Rights legislation can finally get passed to eliminate gerrymandering and remove dark money. And outside of that, the Interstate Compact could pick up some steam, and once enough states join, that would cancel out the electoral college.

Changes like that would require a constitutional amendment. The last time the US Congress amended the US Constitution was in 1992 when they passed the 27th Amendment, a version of one James Madison's 12 amendments proposed in 1789, ten of which became the Bill of Rights. Madison didn't want Congress to be able give themselves a raise so the 27th Amendment requires any pay raises to not go into effect until the session of congress doing the voting endured a fresh election cycle.

thanks for the CRT FALLACY OF COMPOSITION .... ya never disappoint - - - Expanding Welfare Without Work
President Biden’s 2024 budget continues his Administration’s disturbing trend of discouraging work. The Biden Budget proposes resurrecting the expanded Child Tax Credit spending program from the ARP, radically changing the long-standing, bipartisan Child Tax Credit by removing work requirementsand turning it into an unconditional cash payment per child.
This policy would cost taxpayers an astonishing cost of $429 billion despite only expanding for just three years. However, the removal of work requirements would be permanent policy.
If the policy was made permanent, Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) analysis projects, over the next decade, this expanded entitlement programs would:
Cost taxpayers $1.4 trillion over the next decade,
Shrink the economy by $50 billion,
Lead to a $19 billion loss of private-sector investment,
Sideline 300,000 workers, pushing more Americans on welfare dependence.
Biden discourages work at precisely the wrong time:
There are 2.8 million fewer people working today than before the pandemic despite nearly 11 million job openings for 5.7 million unemployed individuals. That is a ratio of almost two jobs open per unemployed person. ^^^ source, BUDGET COMMITTEE

@@billyyank5807 The point is we're are not stuck with two parties to choose from. In the UK we have three main parties and then multiple independent parties. At one point we ended up with two parties sharing control because there was no out right winner meaning to get anything done both sides had to agree. Unlike in the states where if there isnt an out right winner then one branch of the government gets to decide who's president.
The other thing is we don't have an electrol collage choosing the final out come it really is one person one vote.
I know the way the government works between the two countries is totally different however i think if you had more choice then just two parties you might find them work harder for people rather then their own greed and power.

Yet another reason why the Electoral College needs to die.
(Also, do not parrot your old, tired, and worn out arguments on why it needs to stay. I've heard them all. They all can be boiled down to "because tradition." They haven't changed in centuries because they apply to a reality that hasn't existed in centuries).

      @@nil7148 Because tradition.
That sums up every old, tired, and worn out argument in favor of the electoral college. And these arguments are old and tired because they're the reason why the electoral college was created (while leaving out the "so slave states could count 3/5 of thier slaves who can't vote toward thier presidental votes). Reasons that spoke to issues relevant in the late 18th/early 19th century that aren't relevant today.
If it sounds stupid, it's because it is.
The problem is, changing it requires a Constitutional Amendment. As we speak, we are in the longest Constitutional amendment drought in history, which is even longer when you take into account that the last voted in amendment wasn't proposed in the era when it was voted in.

$708 Million: This Is How Much George Soros Spent On Politics In One Year Alone
Soros has a multipronged plan to “heal” America of her supposed sins. His medicine includes “nonpartisan” redistricting, stacking federal courts with DEMOCRAT left-wing judges, and a “properly conducted” 2020 Census.

    • @jryecart8017
      @jryecart8017 Před 10 dny

During the 2020 election, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent hundreds of millions of dollars to turn out likely Democratic voters. But this wasn’t traditional political spending. He funded a targeted, private takeover of government election operations by nominally nonpartisan - but demonstrably ideological - nonprofit organizations.
Analysis conducted by our team demonstrates this money significantly increased Joe Biden’s vote margin in key swing states. In places like Georgia, where Biden won by 12,000 votes, and Arizona, where he won by 10,000, the spending likely put him over the top.
This unprecedented merger of public election offices with private resources and personnel is an acute threat to our republic and should be the focus of electoral reform efforts moving forward.
The 2020 election wasn’t stolen - it was likely bought by one of the world’s wealthiest and most powerful men pouring his money through legal loopholes.
      SEE ALSO
In her new book, “Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections,” Mollie Hemingway reveals how social-media companies like Twitter and Facebook responded to the 2016 election of Donald Trump to go from free-speech advocates to censors - including blocking The Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden. Here, an exclusive excerpt:
Exclusive book excerpt: How Facebook and Twitter rigged the game in 2020
The Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) and the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR) passed a staggering $419.5 million of Zuckerberg’s money into local government elections offices, and it came with strings attached. Every CTCL and CEIR grant spelled out in great detail the conditions under which the grant money was to be used.
This is not a matter of Democrats outspending Republicans. Private funding of election administration was virtually unknown in the American political system before the 2020 election.
Big CTCL and CEIR money had nothing to do with traditional campaign finance, lobbying or other expenses that are related to increasingly expensive modern elections. It had to do with financing the infiltration of election offices at the city and county level by left-wing activists and using those offices as a platform to implement preferred administrative practices, voting methods and data-sharing agreements, as well as to launch intensive outreach campaigns in areas heavy with Democrat voters.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ - - -- Billions of Taxpayer Dollars Wasted on Fraud and Abuse

      Medicaid: 15.6% - $81 billion
      CHIP: 27% - $4.3 billion
      Child Tax Credit: 13% - $5.2 billion
COVID Unemployment Insurance: nearly 50% - $400 billion
