Having cubing for almost 7 years now there are some puzzles that I still have not managed to solve yet... Here is a list of 8 puzzles I cannot solve...

i alr have a ghost cube but w/ stickers and i got parity and gave up on solving so that kinda sucked lol
(edit) ghost cube w/ stickers is called axis cube btw
The only one of these I've solved is the Ghost Cube. Once you learn the tricks, it just becomes a harder 3x3. I solved it with the 3x3 algorithms the first time, but didn't realize it was solved because of the offset.

The big dipper megaminx literally looks like it defines physics.
The puppet cube is actually shockingly easy. You just need to solve the corners and orient them, then you use a corners first approach to completing the cube.

Basically the Evil Twin 4x4 Rubik's Cube is a variant of the standard Rubik's Cube puzzle that consists of two 3x3 puzzles positioned at a 2x2 corner block and then adding extra cubies to give the appearance of a 4x4 cube. This means that the puzzle has two smaller cubes positioned in a 2x2 block, which are then connected by additional pieces to create the larger 4x4 cube shape.
The objective of the puzzle is to scramble the cube by rotating its faces and then solve it by returning each face to its original configuration, with each of the 96 individual squares matching up with its corresponding color. With the ghost cube, I just solved it layer by layer like a regular cube, but it takes a lot more trial and error because so many pieces are similar to each other but not exact copies. Once you have 1 layer done, you trial and error through all the edge pieces for the second layer. Then when I knew 2 layers were done, I just did random oll and pll algorithms until it started coming together.
Bad description, but basically it's just a trial and error 3x3
What's annoying about it is that a couple corners and edges are nearly identical and you can put one of them in the wrong spot and make it unsolvable until you realize one corners just feels ever so slightly off and that's why your oll wasn't working
@@shaggyrogers9028 mine is the normal reflective one with the lines and each side has lines going the same direction. That’s the only difference I saw between some of the pieces

The 3x3 the only thing I was missing was the fact that I didn’t do what they said for the corners and made my own effective way to do it and I missed the part where they explained the algorithms so I thought right handed alg was the same as left handed alg but left handed you do on the left side and vice versa

I love how the ghost cube was really hard but perfectly solvable when you understand it, meanwhile the big dipper megamix is just poorly made.

Thanks for letting me know that even you can do it when you sat down and learn, that mean I can also do it too. so, I won't do it right now and will sit down and learn later.
Going by this, I can say I will have done it in the future, so I won't do it and postpone it for later, indefinitely.
Because if I want to do it, then it will be done, so there're no point in doing it now rather than later.

Love that 3x3 got in there. I was 43 when I learned how to do it, despite having one from about 7 years old.
Now (45) I can do it in under 45 seconds. Everything is easy when you know how (despite my time being about 15x the world record (it still looks super fast to my friends)) 🤣
I can solve the ghost cube and rubiks impossible, the ghost one is pretty easy since it works the same as a 3x3 but tilted, but the impossible is actually really hard and I had to use the reference sheet of corresponding colors and even then its not a free solve
I actually have the impossible cube, I love it so much, it’s super fun to solve :)

For the puppet cube solve it like a 2x2 for the corners and then use the u perm without the set up moves and change it in different ways and ad then together in ways that work
Puppet Cube Version 2 is easy, just use your luck, solve the corner(its just a few try) and then just use the m u perm to solve the edges

The dreidel cube is beautiful but the tiny petal pieces means the cube falls apart super easy. It is the only puzzle I own that I cannot solve, because the puzzle never holds together long enough for me to solve it. It is currently in a ziplock bag. Not so beautiful now...
