Mass Production Process of an Electrical Wire & Cable Making in Factory.
In this video we are showing you about common and crucial steps of an electric wire & cable manufacturing
Step 1: Wire Drawing
In the first step we acquire metal (copper) wires that fit with AGW (American Wire Gauge)
Step 2: Annealing
Apply tremendous pressure on metal rod to from a thinner wire. Thus, the wire we get is extremely brittle and can easily be fractured if flex.
Step 3: Twisting & Stranding
In this step two or more wires of the same gauge are twisted or together using a proprietary formula to determine twist length.
Step 4 : Extrusion
Passed through an extruder, where the coating of plastic or other insulating is applied.
Step 5 : Cabling
Just wrap up one or more stands of wire, together with interference-preventing
