    📋 TIMESTAMPS & STEPS
    00:00 - Intro
    00:17 - What You’ll Need
    - Mason Jar
    - Photos
    - Glitter
    - Hot Glue Gun
    - Sandpaper
    - Vegetable Glycerin
    - Distilled Water
    - Laminator
    - Decorations
    01:44 - Step 1: Select your photos
    - Cut the subject out.
    - Make sure that the subject is pretty clear in the frame so that you can cut it out and have them stand out.
    - Make sure the photo fits the lid.
02:39 - Step 2: Laminate and cut the photo
    - Laminate the photo. The lamination process will help make the picture waterproof and be able to be in the snow globe.
    - Cut it out from the lamination and glue it on the lid.
    - Make sure again the photo, now laminated, fits the lid.
03:29 - Step 3: Decorate the lid with a scene
    - Sandpaper the bottom of the lid. Sanding the lid makes glue and objects stick better.
    - Glue your chosen decorations onto the lid and create your scene.
    - Make sure to have space around the edge so the jar can still twist on.
    - Set the lid aside and let the glue set in.
06:44 - Step 4: Make the snow mixture
    - Pour distilled water onto the jar. Leave some room up top to fill it up all the way in just a bit.
    - Mix in 1 to 2 teaspoons of glycerin per cup of water.
    07:33 - Step 5: Add the glitter
    - Choose your glitter designs and mix them in. Eyeball it while mixing. Note that you can't take out glitter once you have it in the mixture, so go little bits at a time.
09:23 - Step 6: Combine both halves of the jar
    - Top off the water so that it reaches all the way.
    - Combine the halves. Make sure it is secure.
    - Enjoy your snow globe!

I have not been able to find any product that I can use as snow in a snow globe. Everything seems to float. Is there a non-floating product? I would prefer "snow" to glitter, although it seems that some glitter also floats.
