Also remember that nowadays especially in the last 5 years I would say that wall mounted TV's are now standard at Hospitals, Doctors Offices, Jails, Prisons etc. Therfore for me at least a really nice entertainment center or TV Stand feels very homey to me. It also reminds me of more simple times when everything was better before excessive technology like Smartphones, Electric Self Driving Cars, AI Etc. Lastly, most wall mounted TV's will hurt your neck after watching it for to long unless you are reclining back in a reclining couch. In most nice homes they are almost always placed above the fire place.

Only people that don’t know what they are doing mount their tv too high so your argument about a neck ache is unfounded and has nothing to do with wall mounts. You could wall mount two inches off the floor if you wanted. Mine is the perfect height for my seating position and distance. My Sonos arc is cleared and the tv swivels. Modern tvs stands are too low to even have a soundbar in front.

I bought a tv for gaming and fighting games I play standing up but racing I play sitting down. Why does nobody offer a wall mount that has a way of sliding the tv up and down on a sliding mount so you can adjust between sitting and standing?

Personally I don’t like the appearance of mounted Tv. TV on a nice stand looks much classier in my opinion.
