- The best and nicest budget hotel in Maldives! I was in Hulumale but on the way out to another island in the Maldives called Guraidhoo. At first I wanted to go to Mafushi but couldn't find the boat so I ended up going to Guraidhoo. It was a bit confusing to find the ferry terminal and a boat out to the island but I found it eventually. I stayed in a hotel for just 20 dollars per night and I was surprised about the cheap prices.In the coming videos I will go to other islands for example, Thoddo, Dhifushi, or Thulusdhoo

Thanks for sharing this information on traveling in the Maldives. Nice to know there are budget options. I've only seen videos where people stay on private resort islands and pay thousands of dollars.

The first jetty you went to is called the WAMCO jetty, and there are slow ferries that go to Mafushi- will take close to 2 hours. The frequency is quite less through- one or two per day, except Fridays.

William, thanks for taking us along on your explorations! When you mentioned there didn't seem much to do on the island, that's probably why some travelers go there, just to wind down, relax and swim. The price difference between your hotel and those on the resort islands is huge....what a great travel tip for those wanting to see Male on a budget!

Just back from Maafushi and the building going on there is crazy. Also reclaiming the sea on the east side of the island by adding sand. Eventually, the island will be over run. All in all a nice place. Would like to return! Nice series so far William!

Glad to see you are traveling again, the pace of these videos is great. For what it's worth finally got back to Casa Maya in Cancun but the pool you were doing pool tricks in and the Tennis courts and Spa have all been sold off and built over with a small water park what a bummer. Best regards

You are doing exactly what I always tell people to do when traveling! Lol Book two nights online, then use those two days to find your next hotel. Hotels you can find online or with travel sites like Priceline, etc. often charge much more than hotels that are just at your destination. You scored, Bro! $20 a night with air conditioning and a 3.5 out of 5 bed bounce test! And it's right on the beach!How much better can it get?! Deal of your adventure, for sure! Plus, chicks galore! Party hardy William! Have fun and be safe. 😎🤘

Driver Lateef took you the ferry terminal where a ferry boat can be taken to Viligili Island (about 10 minute boat ride). In the map at 2:28 you can see this island west of Male. There are regular ferries and I think its only 5 Rufiya. It's more quiter and greener than Male (but still a part of Male city, and thus also called Vilimale).
Good video, William. These Islands are so unique, the color of the water is beautiful and it's people very hospitable. Prices are very reasonable I can hardly wait to see the next one. I like the way you enjoy your drink and chips. It is inviting.
