Ronnie seems too nice of a guy for the skateboard industry but he still had a long career and more fortunate than many pro skateboarders. He was ahead of his time and had style when it came to technical skateboarding.
Creager had one of the best styles of the mid-late 90s. Always felt he missed out on having a really standout, full-length video part and that much of his best footage got fragmented across various 411s.
I get the feeling from his tone that Chris knew all about this situation before asking the question. Ronnie is rad and I’m glad they put him on the show.
It bums me out so bad that blind didn't take care of Ronnie ,He's a Fucking legend .

90's Foundation was so amazing. Rolling thunder is tied with my favorite skate video ever next to eastern exposure 3. I would have loved to see Ronnie have a part in rolling thunder.

Search for the foundation video super conductor super collider. It is such an epic video. So much style. I feel like the foundation team was marching to a different drummer back then and their team and art direction were very ahead of their time. Ronnie's Trix board in the background of this interview is a perfect example.

Skateboarding and sponsorship has a lot to do with negotiation skills as well / people skills. If you're too passive and humble you're gonna get replaced by someone who has an equal or beyond level of skill but with more people skills...It's just how it is, every industry is the same.
