The battle between Talulah and W was somewhat misrepresented -- Talulah attacked her, to which W reacted with her grenade so as to disrupt her arts; the battle was relatively fierce, or at least gave that impression, with Talulah remarking that she wasn't expecting her to last this long (iirc); and at the end, W covers her own escape with a blast when Talulah thought she'd get to impale her with her sword which prompts the 'I hope your death was very painful' response.

Right. Past Doctor was probably as cold and calculating as they come with no sense of love for his operators whatsoever. Probably treated everyone he knew as a tool. People like Kaltsit probably wanted stuff in Babel to change but was always one step behind.

This event is related to Doctor's amnesia since so far we all know there was an incident. This suggests that perhaps the Doctor is accidentally involved in Theresa's death. Moreover, also Talulah and Theresis (Theresa's brother) are also related to her death but in this case, since they are villains, we could say that Talulah and Theresis were willingly involved in Theresa's death. That is why W death List, these two comes first place and in 3th place the Doctor. Give me a like if you agree with my hypothesis!

I still don`t really see her as reliable lore-wise. She pushed Misha to pick up the mantle of Skullshaterer and after what happens in ch.8...honestly either she`s gone full insane or just decided that she will have her revenge for Theresa.

However, due to the ideological conflict her brother Theresis, Kazdel Civil war commenced, utterly destroy what's left of Kazdel along with countless lives in the process. Babel, more or less, lost in the end. It's never confirmed why, but after Theresa's death, the war "abruptly" stopped, along with the ongoing "decapitation" operation aimed to eliminate Babel in its entirety. It's likely that Doctor's action and Theresa's death has prevented further loss of life, and probably how RI even had a foundation to exist on.
The two mercenaries are alive and well, but are basically kept under a house arrest, from where they try to leak information to W. W is close to death, because she contracted Oripathy a long time ago, which is the disease that is destroying the world we play in I hope that answers your questions lmao
