More Life has so much meaning to me it really helped me get out of a dark place in my life. Do Not Disturb is one of my favorite Drake tracks. The whole vibe of the album is 🔥

Views is really a great cohesive album. But it’s a album that requires time and understanding to get the story of it. Drake said that sometimes good music requires work from the listener. This album is prolly the most unique I’ve heard from the atmospheric sounds of rain and snow in the back ground symbolizing winter to the dancehall and Afrobeat sound symbolizing summer in Toronto to going back to winter to end the album. This albums symbolizes drakes story with him being from Toronto at its best but people won’t understand it til later. Nothing was the same is my favorite drake album tho💯

Shit felt more like a playlist instead of a cohesive album... Take Care was long too but at least it was consistent sonically. Views had trap, dancehall, r&b, rap etc... Album was all over the place like every album since Views. Some high-highs and low-lows. I give Views a 6.

I think so many drake fans overlook Thank Me Later, that album is in my top 5 and to me is so amazing because it's so similar to Kanyes 808s and heartbreak but still has his own spin to it. The production and features are also a super highlight. So underrated in my opinion.

It’s crazy I actually fully agree with every placement on this list. I’m so glad you put NWTS first. I’m quite picky and I’ve never had an album where there’s zero skips but this album is that for me, and especially that run from Tuscan Leather to From Time, 7 tracks of greatness honestly it’s flawless. And then after that we have Hold On We’re Going Home! Which is arguably his biggest song ever because it gets played on so many different radio stations that cater to different genres.
I don’t think any song on NWTS can even compare to Headlines tho that’s what makes Take Care better for me

NWTS grew on me too, never thought it was a bad album but there are some songs like Tuscan Leather, From Time, Connect, Pound Cake that aged so well. IFYRTITL and NWTS is interchangeable for me, but I still put Take Care number 1.
Nothing Was The Same is clearly Drakes best album he ever dropped. Amazing selection of beats. Cohesive, consise album from start to end. Amazing lyrically, amazing production, amazing mix and master. The best rap singing balanced album he ever put out. Timeless music, still sounds fresh to this day. For me, NWTS is the best hip hop album of all time. I love it and Im kinda sad we will never hear such a masterpiece from Drake again.

finally someone said it, i thought i was the only one who thought it was the greatest hip-hop album(the deluxe version of course) it is a perfect blend of hip hop and rnb it has hits, introspective songs, insane beats and is overall a very cohesive project... damn near untouchable, timeless music bro.
and yes i have heard illmatic, mbdtf, TPAB, RTJ4, We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, FHD and many other beloved hip-hop albums so i'm 100% sure i know what i'm talking about

I think Scorpion deserve more than 9th place. one of the most hated albums it has some skips but overall it's better than clb and dark lane demo tapes

Take Care best album ever. Man. this album been apart of my life for a solid 10 years. forever the soundtrack to my life
Views reminds me of the album “Be Here Now” by Oasis in many ways. Both Super hyped up albums by some of the bigger artists of their respective time coming out of some previous amazing projects. Both albums were let downs and were not as good as their predecessors for different reasons (Every member of Oasis was high on coke while Drake was dealing with the ghostwriters accusations), both albums sold massively but were hated by critics and fans who had higher expectations, and became memes for the same exact reasons: way too long and unfocused projects with a couple of great highlights. Now, after a while, both are getting the “cmon it wasn’t that bad after all” treatment cause the hype is gone and we see them in a different perspective. Does that mean they are good? Not really, they definitely were a huge step down in quality and both the artists never quite bounced back from them, but they are not bad either and probably better than you remember if you haven’t listened to them in a long time.

Loved watching this video as a Drake fan :) Personally, nothing could ever beat Take Care for Me, my second favorite album of all time with my favorite Drake song ( Headlines); Headlines and Take Care were the first two hip-hop/ rap songs I memorized in full, just too many memories with me growing up with this album

I feel like there was a pretty clear shift in his mentality towards the music after Views. It always seemed to me that no matter what Drake would put out, pre 2016 doesn’t feel like he was particularly trying pander to a wider audience even with being as popular as he is. ain’t nothing for the radio, but they still play it tho

Views is a great project. A lot of the people that I´ve talked to about it only know it from the singles and never finished it. Sonically, this is one of Drakes most versitile and experimental when it comes to beat choice. I´ve yet to be as impressed with Drakes album production since this album. I would say its actually his least pop album and thats why people don´t like it. After the drop of one dance, it seems like these are all deep cuts which I love about this album. Hella ppl don´t know songs off this album and then ask me "whos this" and I love that feeling
Never Saw This Video!!!! I don’t know why but Dark Lane Demo Tapes is my favourite Drake Project. For some reason I just absolutely love it. I like how there’s a similar sound scape throughout the project but not to similar to where it became repetitive (I’m talking production wise). I thought his rapping was exceptional on this project throughout the whole tracklist and his vocal performances on songs like Not You Too and Time Flies for example were beautiful and I think some of the best sounding Drake R&B vocals. I loved the sound of the production it gave me a sorta Late Summer Night kinda vibe. Overall I just absolutely loved this project and it takes my 1 spot… I’m not sure why it hit this hard for me but it did. Awesome Video!

It's so interesting the difference the "entry point" of listening to an artist makes. I could never listen to drake early 2010s. the Melodic drake wasn't for me. Then I started again in 2019 So i prefer 'new drake' (let's say 2015 on) to the old, and i feel like for many it's the opposite.
I’ve never really thought about that but I’m the same, like the older drake albums feel dated to me maybe because I got into him later. Although I got into Kanye late too (around “ye”) but I love the college dropout so idk

IYRTITL is a banger mixtape, and I think this is just prime Drizzy. Really enjoy NWTS and Take Care as Well. All 3 of the top 3 are great projects. I also really enjoy Views. Why does no one talk about it? The lyricism is great aside from a couple terrible bars here and there and the production is great. Really solid project and was very surprised how good it was. CLB has lots of great tracks and I think doesn’t quite get enough praise, but also there are some horrible tracks and the pacing at the end is terrible. Sadly, I think it’s my most listened Drake album (I listened to it a lot last year cuz I wanted to grow on it lol) but I actually don’t hate it. Lots of bangers and great tracks. Honestly, Nevermind talking about his newest album. Not notable at all
