The vulnerability between Eve and Villanelle during this scene is something very special. They both let their guards down and were honest and real with each other. The chemistry between Sandra and Jodie is perfect as always too.
I still love the fact that its Eve who makes it an “us” conversation. Villanelle asks the question, but its unassuming and when Eve says “we” would never make it that long, that soft smile Villanelle gives is just adorable

how fragile and seemingly defenseless she is when she decides to go to the dance with Eve and at the same time, how cold-blooded at the time of the murders. Jodie Comer deserves all the awards and recognition.
she always protected Eve, in this scene she did the same thing she did when she died. "Go eve" "jump eve". so sad... 🥺🇧🇷
Fun fact: this is the first time in the entire series that Eve and Villanelle are close to each other, let their guard down and nothing bad happens to either of them and they don't even try to do anything bad to each other.
I loved this scene so much. S3 was truly underrated. It did not deserve the hate.

regardless of how much we hate the ending this was still a good ass show. i still love it.
Read the “Saving Eve” fan fiction. It’s basically a season 5, snd pays off all the things the show didn’t. It made the show re-watchable for me 🤷♂️

Didn't Laura Neil write this episode must have suffered amnesia from this to start of season 4.
This was the best moment of this whole show. Whatever that prison guard did to Villanelle, Eve asked her twice, and even now, Villanelle could not say it. So Eve understands, that it was beyond anything she could even describe. It had to have been something so horrific, that it broke Villanelle's trust in humanity, making killing and taking of life, the only feeling she can enjoy. But Eve has awakened something inside of herself, something Villanelle thought she had lost forever, the little girl with dreams, with hope for happy endings. Saving Eve was her way to keep that part of her alive, because every time she is with Eve, that part of her, comes back to life.

What prison guard are you talking about? The thing Villanelle wasn't able to confess to Eve IS that she murdered her own mother, and is that thought what definetly is haunting her

Something significant, their very first scene together Villanelle tells Eve to wear her hair down. Yet this is the first time Villanelle wears her hair down in front of Eve (wigs not included).

One of the best parts of this scene was not only Villanelle's vulnerability, but Eve talking about their own relationship when Villanelle asked do she wants to be like the old couple. That "not anymore" comment she made showed that what she wants now is a relationship with Villanelle even if they don't make it to old age. 🥲
I recommend everyone go read books 2 & 3 for a better ending (book one is mostly the same as season 1 except Konstantin’s story is a bit… different and other slight changes) but book 2 & 3 feel like we episodes (but with kissing and sex scenes 🤷🏻♀️😉)
book 2 is my favorite out of the 3 // book three is a wild ride with a very different Eve but highly entertaining and lots of relationship-y Villaneve 👌🏻
… but also bit of unnecessary drama and weird anger and overreacting sometimes

now, I am coming from Ted Lasso 1x4 - 08:28. the ball scene in that moment in Ted Lasso reminded me SO MUCH where this scene in Killing Eve had been shooted. while realizing that, in very parallel of time I remembered these two shows belong to England. thank God, I wasn't wrong. I feel justified pride right now. this is how I love when I love something... Killing Eve.... yes you!
