Some day I'm going to own a motherfucking castle and pay these guys to sing when I invite nobles and gentries to my chamber halls to pay fealty.
Totally addicted….. Absolutely beautiful….. The world needs more proper MUSIC like this.
They need to do an album of the Icelandic Hymns.
I remember seeing a video about a couple of guys singing an Icelandic hymn in a train station hall. I looked it up again, it's them! :D
You make such a beautiful sound. Love from England xx
musically
we don't stand a chance
against this onslaught of
incredible talent
God, what a harmony!
Great sounds, great harmony, great posture by the guy up front
this is art, not only music. thank you again kexp for showing us an awesome band again!
Can't wait for the 3rd album.
amazing band, they should come tour in Canada!
I'm pretty sure "Árstíðir" is the Elvish word for Orgasm, which is fitting because I think this was on the soundtrack for "Galadriel does Gondolin".
beautiful happiness .
Moving performance! I love it! gonna check this guys out, they're so talented
Absolutely stunning! Loved it.
Its awesome! great session!
amazing color of tones
Du bist ein 'schwangerfisch'.... Ilieber Ragnar, das werde ich nicht vergessen 😎🙏 und nun ist es 14 Jahre her
AWESOME,,, TRULEY AWESOME!
Nice harmonies and drones
Peace ❤🎶
Que lindo!
beautiful Iceland
Dogtown yea but greenland is greener
Rodrick Davis hum, ok...
well this made my day #ancestors #icelandicmusic
That was probably the shortest KEXP concert ever. And one of most beautiful performances.
Where to find the lirycs in English ? Somebody know ?
It sounds like something straight out of an old steampunk RPG called Arcanum.
+Anthropophagus These guys are high above your superficial corporatized version of what you like to call "steampunk" another fashion fad that won't live for another few years. True artists don't exist under a label...
+electrikwafflez Ah yes, because I see connections with things, I'm automatically a dumb peasant. Also, the game Arcanum is 15 years old. Go listen to the Arcanum soundtrack before saying something even more stupid.
How do you pronounce this band's name? It's really good!
ours-teeth-eart....idk thats how i pronounce it, might be wrong but pretty close i think aha
the last 'r' is more rolled than havin a 't' at the end, also the second 'i' is more like an English i sound than ee like the first i with an accent
Benj. Evans you got it! they are all english sounds really but like you said except for the rolled R which isn't in english.
+rosecolouredglasses the best is always google translator :P they tell u how to pronounce it right :)
+Robert Kinzl good point!
Muito bom vlw!! tem os audio pra dowload aqui>>>pleer.com/en/search?q=artist%3A%C3%81rst%C3%AD%C3%B0ir
hej ni jour ide ritit bra pogga.
Where can I buy their music?
On their own site, iTunes and/or Bandcamp. I can't stop listening to them!
Why did they not close mic the vocalist?
angels don't need microphones to sing mate..
sometimes sounds almost similar to Arcanum main theme
Polished up campfire music. Sounds a bit like revamped Clannad in Pullovers or monks in funny T-shirts. Good for a laugh, though.
You must go to some pretty awesome campfires.
