Great video! But I already have a light kit and a winch installed on the Y cable from the ESC. Is it still possible for me to install the BEC on a 3 split adapter or something like that?

Depends upon the servo you are installing and how much power you want to run through it.

@@HappyDude1 then yeah kinda. Castle bec if you're up for cutting and soldering, if not then this kit is what u need.
What would happen if you didn’t install the bec? Would the servo still be more powerful than stock?
Yes, but you may experience erratic behaviour and random cut-outs.
iftibashir gotcha, after doing more research I’ve decided to go with a bec when I upgrade the servo. Thanks for the info.
iftibashir does it matter what bec you get?? I want to get the traxxas bec but is that 7.4v and able to change via app???
Andres Villagomez to my knowledge it’s 6v with a 5a rating
cory f so it’s always on 6v and can’t be adjusted right?
Bit expensive considering other manufacturers are better and cheaper but great video though!
