Acually, the true Alumni is Rachel, Kurt, Mercedes, Tina, and Artie, they were there from the very first episode, but you can also say that Finn, Puck, Santana, Quinn, Brittany, Mike could also be apart of the Alumni, because they have been there scince the first season. But you put Artie and Tina as just classmates/friends which is very wrong.
Kara I put Artie and Tine there because they were Finns Classmates. They learned and grew up next to Finn and in Season 4, Tina and Artie were his students. And when I say Alumni, I mean the students that graduated, so why would Artie and Tina be considered Alumni in Season 5 when they hadn’t graduated yet?
You know what the fucked up thing about this is for me? Ever since this show started, I wanted them to cover this song. I thought it would be perfect for them, as it perfectly conveys the amount of love the group has for each other as well as the fact that it's from one of my favorite musicals of all time, Rent. And then, when my wish finally comes true, when they finally cover this song, it's under these circumstances. It's because Cory, someone I admired for so long, passed away. And I can feel the emotion in this song so vividly, feel how much pain they were all in when they sang it. I could see how worn, how hurt, how *heartbroken* they all were about it. And now, instead of feeling how I thought I would when I wanted them to do this son, ecstatic, I'm crying my fucking eyes out. Instead of singing along, I'm choking on sobs. The fucked up thing is, this used to be one of my favorite songs, one of those damn songs where I couldn't help but smile every time I heard it. Now, whenever I hear it, I think of him. Cory. How much I miss him, how much I wish he would come back, how this never should have happened to him. And instead of smile, I sob. We miss you so much Cory. they wouldn't do that. the original broadway production of rent had them sing the song at angels funeral but when the man who wrote seasons of love died the night before the show debuted they decided to put it at the beginning, no one ever changes the lyrics out of respect for him, and thats why the glee cast perform the song at the beginning of the episode.

It's bittersweet seeing them sing this song for Cory/Finn, but what really makes the water works rolling is the fact that this family they've created not only was hurt on screen, but off screen. They got out all their feelings through song. Grieving this sincerely, singing out their pain for the world to see through the internet and for Cory to see in his happy life in the afterlife just made my heart ache. Cory/Finn will always be on the list of role models for me and I'm sure thousands of other people. 💞

I feel like the fact that glee uses songs to express their emotions makes it that little bit more emotional and true compared to any other tv show that just uses acting. Especially with this episode they expressed their emotions most when they were singing and you could see it ❤️

I remember watching this and when they all came out I was expecting Finn and Rachel to come out together and sing and I didn’t know why they were all singing a sad song and wearing black I thought maybe Mr Schue was leaving the school and then it was the end of the song and Finn and Rachel still weren’t there and I was really scared then they all turned around the picture came on and then I burst into tears. Though one may never known someone you can learn from gossip and when their a fictional character you learn about them through the show. Then you care about the actor since with out them your fictional character could die and will never be the same as before.

It's bittersweet seeing them sing this song for Cory/Finn, but what really makes the water works rolling is the fact that this family they've created not only was hurt on screen, but off screen. They got out all their feelings through song. Grieving this sincerely, singing out their pain for the world to see through the internet and for Cory to see in his happy life in the afterlife just made my heart ache. Cory/Finn will always be on the list of role models for me and I'm sure thousands of other people. 💞

I feel like the fact that glee uses songs to express their emotions makes it that little bit more emotional and true compared to any other tv show that just uses acting. Especially with this episode they expressed their emotions most when they were singing and you could see it ❤️

I remember watching this and when they all came out I was expecting Finn and Rachel to come out together and sing and I didn’t know why they were all singing a sad song and wearing black I thought maybe Mr Schue was leaving the school and then it was the end of the song and Finn and Rachel still weren’t there and I was really scared then they all turned around the picture came on and then I burst into tears. I’ve watched it twice and I balled my eyes out both times :(
