I don't what kinda oil they use but some oils are antibacterial plus oils breaks down some of the dirt on our faces. For example sunscreen is best cleaned with oil based cleanser. Maybe it cleanse your face.

For example, coconut oil is antimicrobial, however, it is likely to clog pores
