      @@thedude5880 I hear that. I started tooling and do mostly tattoo style pieces now. Never understood why leatherworkers/ cowboys liked flowers so much.

      @@ianthomas3653 I just started as well. Tattoo stencils is actually a good idea. I think my next one is a guitar strap for my oldest kid (he's in a band) and one of those would look great

      @@Andy-in8ej he doesn’t use a mallet for the majority of the video. You can clearly see he’s just pressing down the leather for most of the details in the mask

    I am amazed. I thought it was impressive how you molded and shaped the image instead of using a hammer. It seemed to be the Tai Chi of leather craft. The zen quality of this works is hypnotizing. I will definitely be trying these techniques in some of my own work.

    When you cut the small finger like smoke details do you cut all the way round? If so do you have any problems with them peeling back?

    Craftsmanship of the masters. When I put on ma leather I made, and rock to sum Metallica, Delta Parole, Foo Fighters or the Smashing Pumpkins I feel like I can do anything in the whole wide world.

    What type of leather is this? It looks very soft. Where did you buy it? I can't sculpt with the spoon as easily as you do

      Hello!
      The leather is vegetable tanned and I bought it from a trader in Bulgaria.
      Have you tried to moisturize the skin more so that you can work with it more easily?

      @@Kanatitza I've tried adjusting the water content in the leather a lot, but it doesn't seem to help. My modeling spoons always seem to either 'scratch' it or resist being sculpted as easily as yours

    this is very nice. how much preasure do you use, or how you make the leather so soft, I cant leave no mark on my leather :-(

      I make the skin soft by moisturizing it. It is important not to get too wet. I don't push too hard

    This work looks amazing, but the fact that the video it always sped up spoils the video. I’d recommend slowing to real-time for at least a small part of the use of each tool. It’s just a blur.

      @@PHILSON13 There are softer and firmer leather. Sometimes, when I work with harder leather, it is difficult for me to work without a hammer and I have to press very hard.
