Oh dear this ages me. I remember the rec with that long rocking boat and the singular bars to play on. The station is somewhere I remember when my grandparents used to take me and my brother on the train every day for one week of the summer holidays to the coast. You could buy tickets called Rover Runabouts for a week.
The countryside is now concrete over with housing estates for Swales problem families, gangs of hooligans run the outer estates, drugs are freely available. Wonderful place. What was once, is not now.
My educated guess is early eighties from fashion and film stock... I actually went to the QE posh school. But spent a special summer hop picking at Lavender Farm nr Teynham.. Still picked the old way.
