Yes, it’s back! Also, I find it interesting that the three with her are named Ember, Coconut, and Dust, when the one captured by the humans is Todd, (or Tod idk which) a very human name.
Probably after Todd, the mischievous fox cub in Disney's The Fix and the Hound.

Interesting that you mentioned forest fires are a normal system of nature. However, during the forest fire scene, if you don't climb the post to escape and continue running to the left of the screen, you'll find two humans torching the trees with flame throwers. Really really sad game. 10/10 though.

Got my copy on PS4 and I'm loving it so far! Can't wait to see others play the rest of it. Also, I gave names to all the foxes.
The mother is Vespyr, the deep red fox that got taken is Aspen(f), the brown fox is Moose(m), the Silver fox is Tundra(f), and the sandy fox is Dune(m).

The scene where we are first introduced to the cubs and then it zooms out to show the raging forest fire is the definition of "beauty in the chaos" to me.
Also when the person took Todd away I started shouting "DESTROY THEIR ENTIRE BLOODLINE!!" to the point my sisters came over to see why I was talking about a baby fox being kidnapped. 😅

Man, it's just one sad game after another I tell you! Speaking of sad things, I was in my drama class where we practiced soapbox speaking. I decided to give it a go and talked about how bad animal cruelty was - instead of talking for the 30 seconds we were told to talk for each speech, I ended up talking for a minute and even started crying as I discussed it... why I tell the internet any of this is because I want the world to know that I am an animal person and I love all animals and will protect them however I can. Thank you Seri for inspiring my love of animals, and I hope one day I can be a biologist where I can make an impact and help animals in need

I think the box in the tree house was a distraction because you can wander at day but you have to deal with humans I think that’s to distract the human for some time

It might not be a point or meaning of the game, but this really shows what mass extinction and the cruelty of Humans can look like. It's the really sad truth, and if things like that don't stop, Endling might be the fate we get. No more animals, plants, not even us Humans. Do what you can, please ♥️

I watched this game and named the mother fox Sionnach(Irish name for fox) the black/dark gray pup Lomdi (Hindi name for fox)the light gray one Vulpes(which is the scientific name for fox), the other one Kettu(Finnish for fox)and the one that was taken away Zorro(Spanish for fox) They’re weird I know, but they’re cool.
You seem to really enjoy this, so I think you would enjoy The First Tree, and I can't find anything on you playing it yet. It's essentially the same premise of a fox raising her kits, but it's very pretty

this game reminded me of Tree its a game where you play as a fox mother and your kids are gone and you unlock more and more memories of a human male you find your three kids (i can just find two and hopefully you find your third) and go through multiple worlds to find momories.(two as far as i know)

Hello Seri, I know it's late to be commenting this but still, I have watched the whole series of both Stray and Endling everytime I got the notification that you posted one I tapped it. Both were great series and right now in watching them again as I always thought I forgot to watch an Endling episode or Stray episode and I also want to see what all of the episodes look like together. I still remember what happens at the end of Endling and it still reminds me that all life is not rainbows and Sunshine and one day mass extinction is going to happen one day. (Wow this comment took forever to get the spelling right on and to type lol)

Foxes are my favourite animals
The little foxes can be called pups, cubs, or kits so both pups and fox kits are basically correct.
so the brown one with black bits that got lost is Todd, the brown one without black bits is Coconut, the orange/yellow one is Ember, and the white one is Dust. Imma keep track of that and make sure to get very angy if Seri forgets which is which. >:3 /j
