You were just steps away from a cracking independent pub called The Market that does fantastic food. I was almost shouting at the screen - turnaround!! The building you were in Sorbo Lounge used to be the main Post Office for the town centre.
Impressed with your hidden music talents.

One Friday a bloke phoned me up in a bit of a panic and wanted to know if I could shoot a wedding at short notice. When I asked him when the wedding was he said "tomorrow " anyway I said I'd drive over with the paperwork to this farm in Chesterfield. We did the contract for the next day and I set about planning the photos. It was being held at the crooked spire. I did the home shots and then sped off to the church to photograph the arrival. I was stood talking to the vicar when the bride appeared. Instead of a bouquet she was carrying a baby! The vicar looked at me and I looked at the vicar and there was this long silence before I said " There's not much chance of that straightening up then." As I glanced upwards. Then me and the vicar disolved into giggles. The bride couldn't work out what all the laughing was about....Golden moments.

@@joline2730 It has long been said, since the church was first built in fact, that the spire will straighten up the very next time that a virgin bride gets married there. Now this particular bride walked in holding a baby not flowers as is the custom. Does it make sense now? Also brides carried flowers to mask the stink that they used to give off in former ages. Flowers really aren't necessary today since we have showers.
Just amazing what that van company did for you, so good. The appreciation will probably never wear off as you enjoy that new van and all it's plushness and features 👍

Hi James, I spent five months in a Peugeot Partner partly converted in Southsea Portsmouth because I wanted to experience van life, and although it was quite hard at times, the sense of freedom I felt was immense! My views were ever changing and they were a feast for my eyes. I wish I could have lived this life for longer and toured mainland europe! Love your new van makeover! Stay safe.
That was gold again. I was either grinning or giggling the whole way through. You two compliment eachother with Yorkshire banter,especially when Helen says it as it is and you get embarrassed James. I can't wait to get back to gods country for the hols,take care until next time

I hope you guys really do a sandwich, salad, or soup sampler video at least once a week. Any sandwiches and soups/stews/chowders that would be freshly prepared by one or both of you FROM the updated van. A challenge but ya can do it. That would be really fun as well as helpful for the thousands out there who have had to cut back to smaller but tasty meals like salads, sandwiches, and/or soups. Helen MUST be related to Sarah Ferguson. She has a sparkly personality and a beautiful smile. And he seems so much happier and relaxed recently. The tunes were great and so fun! Loves ya both.

Legend has it that the crooked spire is bent and twisted because the bride at the very first wedding ceremony there, soon after it was built, was not a virgin !
And that it would straighten up again when a virgin bride wed there at any time thereafter ! 🙂

The Tapas selection looked like it was worth the price, but the burger looked over priced and I would have said £8.00 would have seemed fair.
Forget the electric blanket. 17:17 We have the fury or polyester which is warm and not cold like a sheet.
One on the bottom, one over us, then we have a Duvet on the top of that and it is lovely and warm.
We used to have sheets and it was like climbing into ice and you slowly opened up as the bed slowly got warmer.
Now we just jump in and stretch out. (and no electric bill for it).
I love the heated fleece, best thing I've bought in a long time 🙂

James, you missed a trick in Chesterfield. There is a drinking walk, known as The Brampton Mile. Obviously a mile walk with pub after pub on it, back down into Chesterfield.
