Original: Most of the song is direct from "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" from Wicked: The Musical. One verse each from Behemoth's "O Father O Satan O Sun" (how my version was sung was inspired by "The Plagues" from Prince of Egypt), and one verse from "Bartzabel". And then all the rubbish bits are me.

For this video I challenged myself to use as little AI as possible, which is why I reduced the AI logo in the thumbnail. This video was entirely made by me, without any AI assistance, using primarily open source software - GIMP, OpenShot Video Editor, Audacity, InkScape, and so on. The music was the usual AI singer, the rest is how I've always done it; producer packs and programing. I wanted to challenge myself to see what I could do on short notice without AI that would encourage me to stop leaning on templates and visualizers. And trust me, I realize how mid this is, but, hey, it's all me, and I learned something, and that's the worthier part. As ever, thank you so much for giving my stuff a listen!

"O Beast that whirlest forth..." is a holdover from me starting a project to cover "The Plagues". The whole cadence of "In your oxen, in your fields...."

Where I RP my Hazbin stuff, my Lute has been speculating that a civil war is almost inevitable as two sides form over the redemption debate. And then she points out she controls the only standing army in Heaven. I can't back that up as canon, of course, but I do think there's going to be some kind of rebellion or coup or something along those lines.

I have never considered that these songs would mix to produce such an amazing result! It feels so much more special compared to the other AI covers.

Okay. So, a few things.
1. I absolutely LOVE the original of this song. "Elluka nahmen nahmen ah kum ah kum elluka nahmen~"
2. This is a KILLER remix. Holy carp. I did not know this song could go THAT HARD.
3. I would LOVE to hear someone actually cover this version from Emily's perspective. (Human voice) I'd absolutely try. But. Ha, I am NO singer, I'm not sure I could capture the correct angry cinnamon roll tone this song needs (burning cinnamon roll?) And... I'd be afraid of messing up the Latin part at that speed. And that last part sounds (um) dark (and having a foot in the supernatural door, I honestly I don't want to accidently... summon a real demon ShutUpItsARealFear).
But this song is pretty freaking awesome. I'm definitely gonna keep an eye on it, and *maybe* try and see if I can do something about a cover of it getting done *somehow*... eventually. Maybe. 😅
I'm glad you liked me changes to it! I avoided the "Elluka nahmen nahmen" part because no matter what I did, my programs would just mangle the pronunciation. I also had a WAY longer Latin section I cut for the same reason. I cold have fix it, but it would have taken just way too long.
In desperation, that's when I went to Behemoth lyrics, which... technically aren't Behemoth's Both of the lyrics I used can trace their origins back to Alister Crowley's magical traditions, and that made it fit perfectly for me. :)
Also... I have thought about getting this professionally done. It would cost some big bucks, but might be worth it!

I like the remake even with not being a fan of ai singing. It takes a lot of talent and hard work to remix or remake songs.
Thank you very much for saying so! It would be easy to go to Suno and puppy-mill out one song after another. I could crank them out non-stop. I want my work to be more curated. Only the best of my noise, doing as much by hand as my limited skills allow, not just having an AI do it all.
I was... shocked to find anyone was interested in my work. I've tried to be open and transparent as possible about how it's made, and people STILL listen to it. With all the AI hate going around, having found some people who actually are accepting is very, very nice. VERY nice.
This rocks so hard.
I'm not a huge fan of AI generated content and the voice is definitely just not it, but looking at the lyrics you're on to something and I hope a singer finds this and gives this the cover it deserves.
I'm not sure if I'll have have the arrogance to think anything I make is worth getting done for real, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking about contracting a vocalist, but that's a long way off.

I'm glad some people like what I do, but I'm not in this to be horse famous. I use AI for help and made that as clear as I possibly could. Enjoy it, don't enjoy it, but this is what I could afford to make.
