That’s why he’s loved by Nigerians. I don’t even like rap music but I enjoy Sarkodie’s rap songs. This talented rap artistes made up a rap song at a funeral with mass choir backing him up and it was beautiful. I expected the casket to make some type of movement but I guess the person was truly dead. He is not afraid to speak his mind, and he won’t allowed Ghanaian CZcams presenters to mount unnecessary pressure on him with their obsession of selling out O2 arena. Dude has given so much to the Ghanaian entertainment industry. Sack na Legend. I just hate the fact that Ghanaian music fans take their beefing to an extreme that’s unnecessary. Some even go to the point of openly sabotaging other Ghanaian artistes they consider rivals to the artiste they support. Really pathetic. Nigerian fans also beef but when it comes to global stage, we come together to support our artistes. I think selling out O2 arena must have to start with Ghanaian music fans using their brains instead of relying on fake emotions. Keep it up Sack. Nigerian will come out in their numbers to support you whenever you are ready for big arenas.

for the first time in Ghana's musical entertainment industry's history.
Someone is addressing the appropriate individual with the appropriate questions.
Everyone keeps analyzing, speculating, discussing, and debating whether or not Ghanaian artists will be able to fill the O2 Arena. However, no artist has received a call directly asking them about it.
Someone is addressing the Artist directly for the first time.

Honestly I came here to bash this Banku podcast after seeing for the umpteenth time Ghanaians obsession with trying to fill the 02 and Madison Sq Garden just because Nigerians have done so. But I gotta hold back once I listened to this Sarkodie dude talk. His response to this eediotic desires from his fellow country people is on point. Good, structured responses to all that was thrown at him by his interviewer. Yes he could be saying something in reference to these same questions when in the midst of his inner circle, but this is how to respond to questions especially when it involves other international artists. I didn't think I'll ever big up any Bankunian, but until this dude goes off rails and starts to move in the direction of his people and running his mouth against 9ja , He gets my big ups for this interview.

Am a Nigerian and I love sakodie. If sakodie is a Nigeria he will be mighty like Burna and Wizkid and even surpass them.
Ghanians bullies their artist reason why the artist dont give their best to the fans.
I bet you with time ghanians will start presurising Black sheriff to compete with Nigerians instead of loving him the way he is, this may likely affect blaco as well in the future.
In summary ghanians are the major problem for their artist poor output to the international community, they are full of hate, gossips, negative criticism, fighting and hypocrisy.
Ghanians pls give Nigeria sakodie and watch how we will restructure him with love and support, we will create challenge for all his song both good or bad that the whole world will have no choice but to love and dance to is music.
Ghanians have a long way to go and I believe they will get it right if only they will change their mind set positively.

This is why King Sark is the greatest in GH. Check how he answers questions. How true he is to the game. He understands the cost drivers to analyze how he is moving. He is a man who studied the game and makes the right move at the right time. Timing is a very important cost driver. Anyone who does not pay attention to time, would miss it. If you are too fast you will be get there before the product and if you are too slow it it would pass you by. King Sarkodie rocks. His interviewing skills are impeccable.

Truth is Ghana has been doing a lot of the Africa music space, just that Nigerian took it to another level. We started pretty much the same time, am not referring to the oldies. I mean this new sound, before it was called Afrobeats. We just took it to another level when we discovered our sound and embraced our own. You know when a child results is so good with As in 18 different subjects, that you fail to recognized who came 2nd becoz, the result show 2-Bs and the rest Cs.

Ghana is doing very well, but the problem is that they compare themselves to us and so it appears they are not doing well. They need to get rid of their negative competitive mentality and do their thing. Even with the positive vibe that Sarkodie displayed in this interview, he couldn’t help but mention the ridiculous Ghanaian claim about Nigeria “cheating.” He appeared to disprove the claim, but his bringing it up when it was absolutely unnecessary says a lot about them, including him. He couldn’t help it. They feel the need to cast aspersions on Nigeria in order to make themselves feel better about their position compared to the Nigerian industry. Like Sarkodie said, the entertainment industry is not just about talent- there are abundant of talents all over Africa. It’s an eco system- talent, hardwork, consistency, promotion, business mentality, strategic thinking, and authenticity. That’s where Nigeria towers high above the rest of Africa.
