I think it’s good too, and Robin is actually my least used Fire Emblem characters, but I actually main 4 of them lol, Lucina (as you can see) Corrin, Chrom, & Byleth, I also like Roy, & Ike is fun too, I’m a bit biased towards Fire Emblem characters, I really like them

Hearing Doc’s taunt get described as a “Cig Stomp” makes it incredibly better, like my man’s just finished a 15 and has to kick some ass again.

I feel like Esam and Wadi are funny together. Seems like there’s some good chemistry and I enjoy the occasional banter between them.

Tbh, as interesting as the FE games probably are, they aren’t that interesting in Smash.
Especially when they pale in comparison to a pink, cute puff ball that eats Primordial Gods for breakfast

And being interesting isn't what makes one memorable.
If that was the case then people wouldn't remember that little mac exists because he is just a boxer.
For me Robin is memorable because Fire Emblem is my favorite franchise.
But... if we want to be objective and only talk about memorability by trying to take the viewpoint of the lowest common denominator...
Then the most memorable characters are the ones that do something or are something memorable.
Example:
Mario is Mario
Captain Falcon is Iconic.
Kirby is pink puffball.
To the lowest common denominator of people who know nothing about the history of videogames and the characters in smash, the characters that wouldn't be memorable would be characters like Cloud, Marth, Lucas, Wii Fit Trainer, Dark Pit, etc.
Characters that aren't seen super often (casually) and only hardcore fans would care about.

sonic's "You're too slow!" taunt has probably caused unbridled amounts of rage before
3 professionals forgot Shulk's "I'm really feeling it!" and the fact that Palutena LAUGHS at you while spinning.
Laughing while spinning on a stripper pole, makes it the top tier. Regardless of what these "pros" say.

in my opinion with the taunts of snake, they are "technically" different but its just 1 taunt, they could like give a taunt saying like "target eliminated" or something like that

"Show me your moves" will always be the best taunt in the game for me, regardless of what I think about Falcon as a character. Honorable mentions go to Kirby's taunts (because they can actually be used online), "I'm really feeling it" and Luigi's down taunt.
For the worst taunts, I'd say Snake has the worst ones by far. He just hides inside a box for all of them. It would be cool if it was just one taunt but all of them are the same.

I honestly miss taunting online. Feels pointless to remove it when everybody just T-Bags and dash-dances anyways.
Oh well, at least I play Kirby and can always opt to sacrifice neutral to taunt still if need be.
Pichu is just flailing on the ground?
I thought he was falling on the ground and laughing. It's so funny to spam. It's one of my favorite taunts in the entire game. It's the main reason I sometimes play him. Well, that and his super-cute crawl, which is sort of a taunt as well.
I miss Melee Pichu falling asleep if you crouch too long.
But then again bowser was a car in that game so..times change.
Esam bias
All of Pichu's taunts are basically him trying to copy Pikachu;
Up Taunt: Pikachu charges up electricity, and Pichu charges up electricity, but gets dizzy afterwards.
Side Taunt: Pikachu waves to the camera, saying "Pika pika!" Pichu jumps and waves, saying "Pichu!"
Down Taunt: Pikachu rolls around on the ground, saying "Pikaaaa~". Pichu wiggles on the ground, saying "Pi-Chu!"
Pichu's quite adorable, trying to copy his dad/big brother!
That "Think you can take me" taunt Mythra has is a reference to some joke among XC community that still astonishes most that the localisation team really went ahead and implement it as one of her taunts.
Much like "Now it's Shulk time" is also a reference, but it's outside of Shulk's character that he wouldn't actually say.
Unlike Shulk, Mythra's is fitting since it represents her arrogant and confident attitude well enough that it would be something she would say, hence I would rank her higher.

I'unno man, Shulk would probably say that in a situation that isn't very serious (while Reyn is there). I find Shulk's taunts to be my favorites, because all of his lines are great references to his own game.
I still cannot believe how many times they reiterate that this IS the Monado's power.
On the Xenoblade topic I´d rank Shulk at the bottom because of the missed opportunity with Shulk time, xc1 has so many really good lines spetially on him so they can´t say they didnt have source material

Ness’ down taunt is me thinking him flexing his power.
When he twirls his fingers around, it’s like “haha, look at me and all my power.”

Captain falcon is the only character in smash that as two different taunts in one taunts. His "show me you're moves" taunts has to different variation depending if his back is turn to his opponent. Which makes it the most greatest taunts in the game. Imo.

I love how when Marss and Wadi aren't going against each other they're kind of on the same wavelength against ESAM like at the very beginning 😂
You can also use Kirby’s taunt online so that gives it a little boost
Dr. Mario is also WAY too high imo, probably the most uninspired taunts in the entire game besides the Miis. Like it's not annoying, cool, cute, flashy or disrespectful. He's just kinda there

I absolutely love wii fits "let's stretch our leggs" taunt. I think it's funny that she just start doing a workout in the middle of the fight. Also you can dodge quite a few moves with it.
I love how all 3 of them collectively forgot about the word "Roar" for bowser's part.
I think the next tier list should be characters opening entrances before games start!
Mythra’s side taunt is actually a reference to the pre-patch Ardainian Soldiers who couldn’t stop saying “THINK YE CAN TAIK ME?!?!?!?” It’s good. Also the “GO PYRA!” is adorable and Rex is an amazing character that gets so much shit.
They really should have made a "Don't forget to take a break" with the Wii Fit trainers. To home in that necessary message that games have to show when you play too much...

My favorite taunt is probably meta knights where he just says “fight me” but I also really like shulks taunts (that’s more of me just loving shulk than the actual taunts though)

One of the cool things about one of Mewtwo's taunts (it's the only one they didn't show) is that if he is holding an item, it will float around him.
Sephiroth's evil aura taunt has a niche funny use. If you spike someone on the left side of the stage and stand on ledge and do the taunt it looks like he's leaning forward and looking down.
I'm fully guilty of doing this to CPUs and my brother.
Probably why he doesn't play with me anymore.

In my opinion pyra and mythra would be in the middle because I like where mythra says "Think you could take me.."
Doing Byleths "let the lesson begin" when you completely annihilate somebody is always fun

Marth's English voice is Yuri Lowenthal A.K.A Sasuke, numerous Fallout 3/New Vegas/4 characters including male player grunts, Teenager Ben 10, various characters in Stalker, Yosuke in Persona, And Suzaku in Code Geass. He's my favorite VA of all time but damn do I wish they kept Marth speaking Japanese
I think the best taunts in this game are Wolf up taunt, Shulks "This is the Monados power", Sephiroth laughing, Steve teabagging, Pyra "You'll get Burned, and the GOAT... DK down taunt

As much as I like the Fire Emblem characters, I kind of agree with your statement on them, except I think Chrom should be middle & Roy & maybe Lucina should be top, most of the time I disagree about the Fire Emblem characters but it works here, but Sakurai actually said he simplified their personalities for smash, I don’t really know why but he did
I think Pac-Man’s down taunt is amazing because he can use it to avoid projectiles that he couldn’t if he crouched.
They should do a victory screen tier list next

I’d put Sora’s in mid personally. The magics cool, and “here we go” is a great opener and disrespect taunt lol. The spinning keyblade one sucks tho, should have been the pose he does when he summons stuff and says “give me strength”

And yeah the spinning keyblade is basically an ideal animation turned into a taunt

@@tikprpro03 eh. They would have been really broken, so get why they’re taunts (well, maybe outside curaga. Wii fit gets a free cure, so just do that for Sora, but maybe less spammable. Like it’s a rare thing tht would pop up on the command only when you’re at dangerous %, and maybe heal 5-10%.) Aeroga doing constant damage as long as Sora’s near the opponent, and stopza, well, stopping opponents, and any accumulated damage after it wears off being done all at once is just disgusting. With a kit like Sora’s that shit would be deadly. Stopza especially, it’s probably a similar reason to why stasis isn’t an ability for BotW Link to use lol

Since they’re activated by taunts, I would think they would mention Palutena’s Guidance or the Star Fox or Snake Easter Eggs

up taunt can fake your opponent out and they'll think it's fire fox, which let's you use fire fox in neutral or as a ledge trap/tech chase
sora can do this with Thundaga, react to what your opponent does and you're able to act out faster
kazuya can do this with Laser, act fast out of it so if they airdodge offstage you can edgeguard
As a minecraft fan, I was really hoping one of Steve's taunts would be a solitary firework.
Kirbys taunts are also the only ones used online and the some of the only ones that have some use

In PM if you do the smoking taunt & pulled out a grenade & immediately shielded it, the cigarette would stay in his mouth(our snake had a master chief skin & the cigarette would just poke through the visor)
