In 1970 I made the transformation from Motown R&B fan to southern rock/blues fan based on one album: D&B On Tour w/ EC. That launched a life-long addiction to everything EC, Allman Bros & Rolling Stones. I've seen Leon Russell (RIP) 6 or 7 times in small clubs from Missouri to Florida; and my current "go to" sound comes from Tedeschi-Trucks Band. A lifetime of real music.
SWEEEEETTTT! Bonnie rightfully belongs in the annals of Southern rock legends
+Curtis Lowe No. She does not.
@@JeffersonMartinSynfluent She didn't let you grope her???
So much passion! Great singer!
Bonnie......what a beautiful being! Thank you for enriching our lives with your soulful and soothing voice. You made the 70's a happy time!!
Still a great singer!!!! Love her voice!
One of my Absolute FAVORITES since 1970 when they ( Delaney and Bonnie and Friends) opened for the Byrds, and blew me away!
Bonnie graces any stage she is on from D&B and onward!
I just watched a youtube clip of Leon Russel giving an interview and he said some good things about this lady, said way back in the day "everybody was was trying to sing like Bonnie Bramlett" including him.
Graham Wellington They were good friends and Leon was one of "the friends" with Bonnie and Delaney. Bonnie and Leon wrote Groupie (Superstar) together. Bonnie does an awesome version of that song.
We love Bonnie!! Great soulful lady forever
Love this. Reading Rita's new book ,"Delta Lady", I was reminded how much I admire both Rita And Bonnie.
David Hood & Charles Scott Boyer, Jr....just having them show up was an honor...!
She does you really got a hold on me on an episode of Roseanne. Astounding accapela performance
I saw it . Was blown away! Don’t forget she has a daughter who’s not too bad a singer her own self !
@@tomcooley3778 Bekka is great
Yeah - she classic veteran of the deep vocal collective of blues singing amazing women...loved her for years.
I have always loved Bonnie. Used to sing her songs in our band.
SO GLAD I stumbled across this and to hear Rita Coolidge's introduction and then to hear Bonnie actually call her "Ritar"! (That was in in Ms. Coolidge's book)
I remember when she would sing with the Allman Brothers Band on some shows . She is doing Percy Sledge a solid
Wow! I was there! What a memory! THANK YOU!
Bonnie and the band are both great.
Thank you for posting! What a voice! Wonderful, just wonderful...
Saw Bonnie with Stills in
late 70s at Constitution
Hall D.C
Super show, fantastic voice.
@tomnewnamm1099 Yeah Tom those were great shows. There is one whole show up on CZcams now. I think from 1979. Bonnie just sings her heart out and Steven and her harmonize really well together. The show ends with a great version of Come Into My Kitchen. Check it out, you might have been at that show! ☮️
Yes bonnie an david on. Roseann what a pair ❤
Does anyone know if Delaney & Bonnie ever finally got inducted into the Hall Of Fame? I saw them in the Fillmore East in 1970, and STILL have vivid memories of that concert. Anybody who can leave that deep an impression should definitely be in there!
This woman can SING!
Good to see the great Eddie Hinton getting due credit!
Terrific! More Please!
The first time I saw her was on Roseanne and i can't get enough of her wonderful voice!!
She had a huge catalog of work before then. I was almost disappointed seeing her act on Roseanne. I thought, why dont they let her sing, then the infamous episode came on. I thought, FINALLY!
Beautiful! What a happy surprise it was watching an episode of Roseanne when she belted out "I Don't Like You" to realize it was THE Bonnie Bramlett BACK! I befee up my music collection immediately! Can still hear her and Rita whenever I hear "Neverending Song". Music idols together in Muscle Shoals

It's "You Really Got A Hold On Me," by Smoky Robinson.
I've got a never ending love for you, from now on that's all I want to do.
From the first time we met I knew, I'd have this never ending love for you.

Great stuff!
Rest in peace Scott and Ava.
I love the Divid Hilbert hat .
Hope I can find Bonnie's new CD "Bonnie Bramlett" on iTunes... heading there now!
She just brings those notes straight up from her toes doesn't she.
Larry byrom of Steppenwolf on guitar
You mean Larry Byrom of "Ratchell" !!!
@@phillipmeza3459 Both.
Rita thinking she might have stayed with Kris? Thinking they might she had bad advice. Friends always offer “ free” advice that cost the friends nothing. Lived it
Isn't that Vince Gill playing the 3rd solo?
SOUND!!! WHERE'S THE SOUND?!?!?!?
A white whosit covers a song by a black whosit from the sixties. I am infatuated.
That so many musicians were able to take time off from their jobs at the tire store; dress in their funky best with little hats and add their best licks to this forgettable track was a big deal, no doubt.
Wow, Jefferson Martin.
Bitter much ?
Your obvious misery just drenches the CZcams channel.
I know, I know ... you claim it's being outspoken, but trust me, everyone can sense your self loathing while you haven't a clue.
So sad.
Bonnie is an American R&B legend for nearly 6 decades. As a teenager she sang backed by Miles Davis, Stan Getz, the Adderly Brothers, was featured on the Gospel Train" radio show at age 15, and , for a short while, was an Ikette. Her first studio recordings were for Stax, backed by Booker T & the Mg's. she worked with The Beatles who signed her to Apple, and, on her first European tour her guitarists were George harrison, Eric clapton, and Dave mason. She co-wrote America's most successful pop song "Superstar". "Cover Me" was written by two white guys, Marlin Greene and Eddie Hinton, both friends of hers, and she released a successful version on the Capricorn label. My friend Percy Sledge loved her version. The band, of course, are the Muscle Swampers who cut a large part of our R&b legendary recordings.
what a freaking idiot
Jefferson Martin
Yup! So you weren't invited to go play your cowbell, huh?
Is it any wonder? You sich a Debbie Downer, Jeffey, my boy!!!
Sour grapes? They are some of the most talented musicians in the U.S. They are not only the heartbeat of the South, they are the heartbeat of Muscle Shoals "where legends are made". They're the real deal, they couldn't be more real! The nicest people you could ever hope to meet! Are YOU kidding?! Why would you want to speak ill of them? If you dont like them, then there is no way that you love music.
