- Come feel God’s love inside the Taylorsville Utah Temple. The media was invited to tour the new house of the Lord on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. The public open house runs from Saturday, April 13, through Saturday, May 18, 2024, excluding Sundays.
Utah's newest temple is visible from Interstate 215 on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley. It is one of 30 temples in Utah in operation, under construction or renovation, or announced.

This is My Temple. For so long my Wife & I have had to travel many miles to the Jordan River Temple, not anymore. We are excited for this new temple to open. All praise goes to our Father in Heaven for this monumental event.

My husband and I are from the SL Valley and when we first got married we lived in Taylorsville. We love that there is a temple there now! We can't wait to bring our kids up to the open house.

We lived in Taylorsville for many years. We live in the Seattle area now, but we are coming back this Saturday to see the temple.

Why are there statues of oxen in the temple that is supposed to be about Jesus?
They come from the Old Testament and represent the 12 Tribes of Israel.
