I truly like your story of the Franklin Castle it was very interesting to hear more history about that beautiful beautiful castle. When I was growing up in good old Cleveland Ohio that castle was the most beautiful thing that I ever seen. It's like the Franklin Castle spoke to me in a way I've been inside of it before all the remodeling did my own personal ghost tour of it. And I seen stuff in that castle that a lot of people would not believe but it doesn't matter what other people think until they experience the thrill of the castle theirself. Hopefully you will tell more history of it I'd like to hear other people's opinion of that beautiful castle. And good luck on writing your book
I've stayed at the St Herman's House of hospitality a couple of times. I lived in Cleveland for 17 years I just moved back to Michigan about 4 years ago. I just randomly looked at this up to see if there were any videos on the Franklin Castle and here I am 🤷🏻♂️
Good report, and it made me remember Denver's Croake-Patterson mansion, which was right outside my apartment house windows. One night a friend and I saw a flash of "white lady" descend past the turret window, and it was so real we went downstairs to investigate but the building was locked and dark. The window was no more than 50' from my own picture window.

Must be on the historical register or this beautiful Romanesque mansion would have been torn down. The city should turn it into a museum. Looks like the city is paying the hydro on it, and there is some restoration done. So maybe that’s the direction they are taking. Interior is Eastlake , but the exterior is most definitely Richardsonian Romanesque
there is a story of hannes spirit hitchhiking from Riverview Cemetery where his family is buried on Pearl/west 25rg street...getting in a car and being driven to the castle~

I lived by there most of my life I don't believe it is hounted if you were that old you would make noises creeks and achs that makes think it is hounted man's need for believe in things he doesn't understand gives him the needs to fantasies about supernatural I been in there alot even un occupied and never heard or seen ghost that place is built with huge Corry stones always settling makes weird noises lol boohoo 😆
I get it.. Not every place is haunted. But the ones that are. Oh they are. So sad you're not gifted that you can see these things. I feel bad that people can't experience what I experience.. On a school trip. Sitting there in front of my class crying. What was running through my mind was why in the world can anyone see or hear that. Thank goodness another mother and the two helpers actually saw what happened to me. It was nice to have others witness me getting messed with. And I realize that spirits can actually get full-on physical. Although I've had animal spirits be physical. It was frightening to me that a child a girl could be so mean. Egging on her brother and the neighbor's boy to pull my hair.. The most sickening place I've ever been Gettysburg battlefield. Putrid smell. Cries screams. I found out in third grade, a nurse carried a piece to put men to peace whenever they were severely injured and there was no hope.. I'm so sad Buck Hill inn is gone. Incredible place. Full of spirit. Never evil. But I most certainly got to see the seeds there. Jenkins. Marianne was Charles mom but her nickname was Phoebe. She was dressed in this beautiful black Victorian style dress. Later I found she was a Quaker. She had on a bonnet. I kept arguing with her how hot it was that she should take off her hat. I actually got to put it on. I argued with my grandfather the next day that her hat was hot. If a ghost is supposed to be cold then how is it hot. When I see Spirit it's full apparition for me. And or if I sleep there they are in my dreams.. Most recent thing that happened to me. My husband and I were eating at this new Japanese restaurant. I went to the bathroom and I got locked in. It freaked me out. I literally had my leg on the wall trying to pull the door. And then all of a sudden that let go. It came over me, like a knowing or a dream and remembrance of details. I asked them if they had a fire and had lost someone? A woman? They had. With the fire and heat the door swelled no one knew she was in there. I was like okay it's time for me to go. The chef ran out and questioned me. And I realized it was her husband. Which I could not walk away from. He invited us for coffee and dessert. Damn I didn't want to cry. Hahaha 🫣😂 That's one thing that's lovely. It connects me to others. And sometimes it turns me away which is a good thing. Y'all project the forefront of your thoughts. Most people... A loved one we can really hurt your feelings. And so can strangers. But to someone that doesn't have a gift. How could you know? It would seem frivolous to you. Which it is. Sad
Mariah Klein yes he had to be a evil man and probably took advantage of alot of people in that time period making himself and the other founder of the bank rich, plus having 3 infant babies die and a fifteen year old daughter along with your wife and he mother dying that shit isn't a coincidence

I am not on drugs or alcohol, and have had experiences in an 1850's house in my hometown while babysitting. The owners have had a number of encounters also.

I was in Cleveland a few days ago. We checked out this castle one night, it’s beautiful!
My mom was always fascinated by this place. She lived down the street about 7 houses. Unfortunately she didn’t get to see this 😢😢
