Both are great but something about 4 makes vergil feel evil

To me, he really reminds me of a villain
I think the main difference is about the realistic capability, DMC5 made the moves a bit more realistic as they were in DMC4
That's why DMC 5 feels more natural and more fluid coupled with the better frame rates in 5
DMC 4 Vergil is still my favorite. The voice lines and weapon effects and voice distortion during DT are just too badass.
The design of Vergil in dmc4 is unparalleled

I definitely prefer having the mirage edge over the normal sword. Really makes the Yamato stand out the way it should
The one big point I'll give to 4 is that "You shall die...."
It runs circles around how the line is delivered in 5
One thing I miss about 4 is his normal DT. Dante in 5 has his normal DT which regenerates his health on top of his SIN DT. I kind of wish they did the same with Vergil in 5. But other than that, I still prefer Vergil from 5.
Ngl I think Vergil having a unique DT and SDT is way cooler than his being just a recolor of Dante's with slightly altered moves.
His SDT is like Dante's regular DT on steroids, with crazy combo extensions, spammable Super Attacks, and decent health regen.
His normal DT is completely unique, giving him insane combo potential *on top of* the usual damage, speed, and defense buffs that Dante's also gives. He just doesn't regen in this form the same way Dante doesn't regen in SDT.
But whats most unique and definetly most badass, is that Vergil can use his DT and SDT *at the same time*, while because of the nature of Dante's DT and SDT, thats just not possible.
@@TheDangerNoodle agreed the only problem I got with vergil in DMC5 is no double jump or glide even tho hes shown ti literally fucking fly in 5 when u fight him

Still annoys me seeing how weak the summon swords look and feel in dmc 5 compared to 4 especially the heavy rain swords good thing we have mods to fix that xD

@@swiftchancellor159 I mean the only complain I have is the animation and sound of the summoned swords in 5. But man the sound effects when the sword rain falls in 5 is really funny it makes that lame "pew pew" like sound. And the way the swords stick to the ground is not as impressive back in 4 where it looks like a graveyard of swords. Good thing there is a modder that brings back the dmc 4 style summoned swords to 5 which means I'm not the only one who is slightly peeved about it. Did a pretty good job too that motion blur and camera shake on the mod really emphasized the summoned swords power highly recommend the mod

I like the dmc4 summoned swords design because it feels like a sword unlike 5 its a bit lacking and thin and also short

I playing this dmc 4 se for the first time and i experiencing difficulty in performing combos such as holding the rising star sword wave button
I always looked at how vergil was "nerfed" in dmc5 compared to 4 in the idea of he was older vs his younger dmc4 counterpart and thats why i look at him being a bit slower but STILL the absolute dominat being that we all love.
(I choose the delusion of feeling that the devs made him slower in 5 as a realistic decision more than a balance decesion but we all know ot was really a balance decision 😂)

The PS4/PS5 with HDR seems to mess with the colors of the game a bit. Without HDR on it looks slightly better.

Vergil is amazing in DMC5 its the first time i enjoy play with him, they also made him good looking. The only thing that needs improvment is the look of Yamato. Thank God i play it on PC and mods rules!!

Vergil was To op in 4 but I still pick the dmc 5 vergil cause he is motivated which cut Dmc4 vergil into pieces
He is always motivated .Lol and Dmc 4 vergil's moves looks and sounds much cleaner

Man DMC4 takes a huge dumb on 5 , Especially Vergil , He plays and looks way cooler and powerful in 4 , Every move has a heavy impact and satisfying sounds ,,, Also the art style in 4 looks so good ,,
I prefer the graphics of 5 and the visual effects of 4.

Well, DMC4 Vergil does just straight up have a much weaker and much more limited kit. DMC5 Vergil has twice the attacks, and both DT and SDT.
@@Ghost_of_James_Doakes His kit in 5 is a lot easier to use effectively and appear as crazy good because of his just massive combo potential and how fluidly all his attacks flow together.
