- DJI would never make this drone this way. It has too many choices that historically DJI has refused to compromise on. It doesn't mean this Potensic Atom SE drone is bad however, it provides some serious perks over anything DJI currently offers. I actually personally love the Potensic ATOM SE but it also does have some drawbacks to take note of.

I decided on the Potensic over the Dji. It meets my requirements. So Dji says 20km, and Potensic 4km, yet I've seen no videos where the Dji went over 4km away anyhow. I'm no photographer etc, I got the fly more package at over 100 bucks less than Dji. Potensic hits my market, I'm not loaded with cash.
Same here. And who flies their drone that far away anyway? Heck I've lost sight of mine at less than 1/4 mile. I've been having a ball with my choice and that's what it's all about. Plus saving about $150 over the DJI fly more package and NOT having software limitations on where it thinks I can fly.

You're grounded if you do not update the firmware of a DJI. That's what I like about my Potensic ATOM SE. You can still fly without updating the firmware. Great customer service too!!
Plus it doesn't have all tje freaking restrictions! Just turn it on and go fly it...
The SE was just sold till they had the deal on the 3 axis gimbles ready. The se was the test bed
I saw Summerville lake in the first part of this video. Very nice hike out to that rock formation. Great scuba diving.
I totally agree with what you're saying. People need to look at the perspective of how well that was designed to have no gamble on one access set up. As well, it's Sony corporation in the camera.
And the intelligent features are pretty well

The cfly faith mini has a 3axis 2.7k video and cost 160 it actually has 4k but at 15 fps but unnoticeable if you're recording hovering over landscapes because the scenery doesn't move unless you move at low altitude
Don't forget about the hassles that come with DJI drones and GeoFencing. This is a major hassle for people that just want to goof around with their drones and not be constantly bothered if they fly near a "danger" zone.

flying near a danger zone is not illegal
flying in a no fly zone is
geofencing is not a legal requirement
it upon the operator the not fly in those zones
in my opinion its a lot safer when the pilot has full control of where he or she is flying
geofencing causes unwanted responses from the drone and can actually cause more problems especially when your drone starts behaving strangely
also the dji fly safe database is not perfect

I comparison shopped, learning and losing other drones for months. I fly in the city.
Does what I need and want. Resolution is excellent. Stop nit-picking. For about 200 dollars, this is it! You'll never remake Gone With the Wind. Get real.
DJI can go scratch.
The Potensic SE doesn't crash. Controller is perfect for me. I'll get a 3 axis model soon.
My Potensic Atom SE is the best flyer I have. Very responsive and I am happy with the quality of the daytime pics. It's by far the best in it's price range however it does not support VR goggle mode for some reason.
Just paid $120 and I love it , also dji 2se. Both are cool.
what size tablet/phone can fit in the remote?
Any phone can do it and small iPads maybe but you have to plug the iPads so the controllers connects with the drone

AT this point. You want to go Mini 3. Costco is selling them in a package deal for $429. Mini 3 Pro or even Mini 4 have the sensors which are great to help avoid accidentally running into things. Gambles are far better than a fixed version. This isn’t much for doing any real videos. It is just a learning drone. Get what you pay for.
Yes, thats really the only the difference and it’s cheaper. The mini 2 se is a very good drone.
Yep, you get what you pay for....and DJI definitely charges for all the extra aggravation and BS that they include.....fk DJI
Can i use dronemask with this potensic?
I saw one reviewer use a mask with his. I forgot his name, but look for Potensic distance test and you'll see his setup.
I have that same drone (it’s not worth it) I would just buy the dji mavic mini
I would agree but is good that there is developing competition out there and hopefully they will consider new ideas going forward

@@scoobie69d if you leave it in the air for about a minute it starts moving in it’s own. Also one time the drone thought it was 80 ft in the air but it was actually 4 ft high
Good Starter drone at this stage would be DJI Mini 3. Good gamble lots of features and takes some great picture. You get what you pay for. Unless you live in Florida where DJI is currently outlawed and just want the flying experience. Then maybe get this.
I beg to differ with you, I own both these drones and even the 2.7 K on the DJI is actually a little clearer than this drone supposedly 4K I’ve checked it with pictures and videos and no doubt DJISE is a cleaner video and picture
I am waiting on this drone to be delivered i hope it is a good experience
I got mine i Feb for my 65th bday. Since then I have gotten 3 more via ebay. For relatives, my daughter, my step cousin and a step aunt who has 80 PLUS acres of farming land. I enjoy my ATOM SE and have had around 60 perfect flights, I as well have a DJI Mini SE I prefer to fly my ATOM SE.
DJI mini drones are definitely more robust when crashing the arms are definitely stronger and the bodies do have a little flex on the dji that’s why It takes a crash better than that drone no doubt
The bad horizon and shaky video footage is disappointing, beginners should get a real 3 axis gimbal drone like the dji mini 2 se or the fimi x8 mini v2.

@@Dji_Bruchpilot DJI Mini 2 SE I bought wouldn't connect to the drone on the first day. Customer service still hasn't solved my problem but made me go through a weird software install on my laptop and try to fix it that way. DJI not good, maybe Atom is actually better. Maybe you work for DJI?
The market is saturated with dji mini controllers and batteries due to lost drones and yes they are fragile.. Like I say many gone with the wind along with poor transmission range and the rest.. Just a good customer care team..
My Potensic ATOM SE is fantastic. I get great pictures with mine without any problems. And no need to worry about firmware updates to get it off the ground.
@@derjoh1986 I just got the Atom 4K and have to agree they are making a good drone. Takes good pictures and vids, is stable and has awesome range - more than I'll ever need or use.

Potensic ATOM. three axis gimble. Only cost a little more. Still less than a mini2.
Sigh... It has a gimbal, its just 2 axis instead of 3 axis gimbal. 3 axis makes rotation smoother but 2 axis is fine for everything else. Its why on a 2 axis when you rotate its very imediate in video while on a 3 axis gimbal drone it not it sort of lags behind and catches up to smooth it all out.
Doesn't FPV mode stop the gimbal? I own a mini 2
In my Mavic 3 it doesn’t. It moves the gimbal to act like FPV. Usually with a half a second delay.
Mini 2 is a good little drone, but when it comes to wind the gamble isn’t so good. If you want to upgrade and stay mini I’d recommend DJI Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro or Mini 4 Pro depending on what you want to spend. Cheapest is Costco gets you a couple extra batteries a case for the DJI Mini 3 at $429 bucks. Having DJI Care Refresh makes it worth it. The Gimbal in all these drone version is aluminum and is much better quality and the pictures and a few effects are a great deal in these smaller drones.
No thanks I've heard to many bad reports about the lack of a gimbal. I'll stick to my mini 2se.
Stop the madness, The lack of a gimbal makes the footage from this drone unusable. Period.
DJI would never make it, because DJI does not make Junk. Simple as that... ITs like an over priced Holy stone drone.

My Mini 2 SE wouldn't connect the controller to the drone one day after buying it. Not much good if you can't actually fly it.

One axis gimbal no good. Flying distance 4km only. No wonder why Dji never made this drone.
