It`s a shame you didn`t get the hog but I agree with you if it`s bad enough it will run off and die but like you said you think you hit the Shield and it will probably live. Get you a better Cross Bow enjoyed it

I was actually expecting to see deer during daylight and not a hog. They rarely come in that early at my property.

Wish my property had hogs. I just have a crazy amount of deer running around.
Ha! I’m the opposite. When the hogs start coming around they push the deer off my property. I try to keep them away so I see more deer.
