I just activated Airtel E-sim on my iphone 14 Pro Max US varient (Which don't have Physical slim slot!!) last week. Once you do the initial steps as mentioned in this video and proceed Scanning the QR code, start activation process, within half an hour you may get error that "Esim activation failed", just ignore the error and wait for 2.5 hrs, it will get activated.. Don't keep repeating the activation after you receive error message, since the QR code is valid for only once!!

Hello Team, I guess to update email ID in Airtel, we dont need to call the customer care. We can update that in the AirTel Thanks app!
Once eSIM process is been initiated and activated, we cant send or receive messages for 24 hours. For now there is no proper way to transfer the eSIM from one phone to another. In iOS 16.0, apple have initiated the transfer eSIM process, not sure how that works.
To again convert eSIM to Physical SIM there is no online way, we need to visit the showroom either ways. In iPhone I guess we can add upto 8 eSIM profiles (not officially confirmed though) but at a time only two eSIMs can be active. Hope this helps!

Recommend to use your primary sim as physical SIM, use the secondary sim as esim , I personally faced issue when I have the primary sim as esim and if you are global Traveller the it’s most advisable action.

Can we have two esim for the same number and keep it in 2 mobiles so that we can use whichever phone we want at anytime? I am assuming the other phone will not receive network if one of the phone is on.

Hi Tamil, From iPhone 13 Pro onwards, it supports dual physical sim. The sim tray looks like it can hold single sim only, but you need to insert the other sim to the back of the tray. I have been using 2 physical sims with pro models. You can also use 2 e-sims if not physical. Multiple possibilities are supported

E-SIM is damn good than physical SIM. I ever faced a traditional physical SIM issues when comparing to e-SIM. Using e-SIM iPhone 11 more than 1 and half year. It’s Just save and delete rather than wasting 25₹ for physical if any issues.
