The red international looks like TD 9. That's an overshot loader. Dig into the pile front ways then just back up to a truck and it raises up and over and dumps over the back. I remember my Dad running one.

You might not be old enough to know what all was in that lot, but your old enough to realize that if you don't record it, it will be lost to history. Thanks Todd. Take care. Fred.

I never seen that double sided blade style with the root rake on top.

Great collection of equipment there. Glad to see it's filmed for posterity.

Vickers Vigor an attempt to compete with Caterpillar by the British Vickers engineering company using track systems developed initially for millitary use. History shows you can't beat Cat at their own game.

    Hi, skadill.
Thanks for the video. Good stuff.
A couple of other commenters are right that the dozer with the oddball military-looking track system is a Vickers Vigor, Rolls Royce diesel, about 180 horsepower I think, poor mechanicals. spent a LOTTTA time in pieces and did not last long in production.
Monarch may have been the only American manufacturer to use a steering wheel on a crawler but they were not the only manufacturer. Italian Fiatcrawler had steering wheels for many years through to the 1950s.
The first three rear-engined front shovels look to be Austin Westerns. There were several outfits making similar units back in the day. I don't know what make the fourth one is.
    Just my 0.02.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
