the "ambiguous" part you mentioned while Senshi was explaining why the slime attacked Marcille, was only a bird-eye perspective shot (slime pov) of how Marcille was yelling at Senshi to not put the graveyard veggies into the pot lmao
I've been a fan of the original manga for a while now and I'm really happy to see that the anime adaptation is bringing in new fans into this story! I hope you keep watching. Answer for question of the day: I'd like to eat the tart because I have a sweet tooth.
The tart does look great ngl 😅 So far I have nothing else to watch for Wednesdays and this series is a great comfort watch so far so I plan on sticking with it for the long haul!
I like all the secondary cannibalism they are possibly partaking in.

The fruit tart was actually described to be savory! I have an extreme sweet tooth, so was kinda disappointed to hear that it was savory, but I’d still pick it over the scorpion/ mushroom broth because 1) I hate mushrooms and 2) I can’t imagine what a savory fruit tart tastes like and I really wanna know.
This anime is a great palette cleanser after watching Chained Soldier and Gushing Over Magical Girls

this is one of the weirder series I've seen for a while, got a bit of Toriko to it and a bit of Danmachi as well along with the comedy aspect too.

they both look fantastic, but i'd go for the hotpot. i can be a picky eater, and with the hotpot i can try a bit of everything to see what i like most

The only thing i do not understand is the whole thing with the sister. . . feels like a red herring or just an afterthought to the story. Food part is great though but sister part is like they are all like revive jaded and semi psychos while the brother is like "oops got my sister killed o well". . .
The series does generally have a "lighter" tone so they aren't really focusing too much on how the party feels after Falin (Sister) got eaten. Plus resurrection is pretty strong in the setting. Lastly, its definitely not a red herring or afterthought. The introduction of the story with Falin being eaten is CRITICAL, and it ties the whole story's themes together which is about eating and being eaten. Hopefully the other parts of the story continue appealing to you until that's more clear
@@user-kb2lg1th2t Someone described it a bit like adventure time. At the surface it is quite a light and nice tone but behind that it is utterly effed up and dark as tar. Which put the entire first episode in a completley new light for me.
