Actual the original name of this song is 5000 MILES. It's written by the norwegian songwriter and artist Torstein Flakne (member of the groups The Kids, Stage Dolls etc). Stage Dolls didn't record the song. In 1992 5000 Miles is recorded on the norwegian trumpet player Ole Edvard Antonsen's album Tour de Force. In 1995, Bjørn Nessjø, the producer of Tour de force AND Harket's solo album suggested the song for Morten. And it became a huge success for the second time. - Hudba
Morten may be ONE of MOST TALENTED singers ever. His voice pallet is simply amazing. There is simply no words to use in order to show appreciation and gratefulness for what he has offered us throughout the years ... with a-ha and in his solo albums. As a guy who grew up with their first songs I never thought these 3 chaps from Norway would travel so far 35 years later. We all know how many groups/singers had hits in the ‘80s and then just faded away. Morten and a-ha kept aging like good old wine. A zillion thanks to them/him for these wonderful gigs/songs. Morten/Magne/Paal, you will be “worshiped” eternally!
